Comfortable airy room. Friendly and very helpful staff made such a difference - including both of the receptionists, breakfast waitress and the friendly cleaners. All clean and well maintained. Nice breakfast too.

The room was a lot smaller than I had expected, but was comfortable enough. The location as great in the centre of town and handy for buses. It wa right opposite a large car park and may have had its own parking, but I arrived by train so didn't need it.
Oddly, there was no wardrobe, nor a coat rack or even a hook to hang my clothes on. Since I was in Barrow for a funeral, it made getting dressed a bit of a balancing act. The breakfasts were fine, and served in a very pleasant room overlooking the back of the Town Hall. Staff were helpful and polite, but the cutlery was the thinnest, flattest flatware I have ever used.
