Clean, comfortable and good value for money hotel

Good location, clean, comfortable. Friendly staff.

With the 2 out of the 3 rooms booked, the showers were both stiff and difficult to switch on. This was reported to Reception on departure.

The room was clean

They charged us for the parking on arrival which clearly stated that it was included with the price of the stay!! They were having the property painted throughout which left a strong smell of paint of which gave us headaches for the duration of our stay

The location was perfect, close to the motorway and not far from our venue.

Its a basic hotel it was clean and the bed was comfy. Staff on front desk absolutely brilliant always happy to help, and very happy.

Staff were great, very friendly and helpful. When we realised the heating was not working, we were given another room immediately. Bed was very comfortable

Breakfast was a cooked one, no porridge or cereal, so I opted for just bacon and eggs, I asked for toast, had to pay extra. On a positive, it was Yorkshire tea !

Basic but friendly

Staff were very friendly and let me move rooms to a quieter side that didn't overlook the lorries.

It has a feel of being a place for workmen to stay. A man was microwaving food in the foyer, which is good for workmen, but didn't feel nice as a solo girl and I did feel a bit unsettled going up to my room.

Good location

My mattress was covered in blood and urine. And because I dared to complain the manageress shouted at me saying she was fuming at me and it was not blood it was tea or coffee and that was ok. As you can see from the location of the stain I fear it was menstrual blood. Have provided photos I’ll let people make their own mind up

Breakfast, not in the hotel you need to walk to the services area, 20 minutes waiting in the queue. Not very helpful staff... for the money portion bad 👎 bread extra, 🍞 😤, coffee undrinkable, noisy eating area. 150 people around you... So negative experience

Room - the family room was good. Bed: We did find the single beds tad too close to each other and banged our toes on the low, single bed. Clean: The hygiene in our family room was first class. I would definitely come and stay with Days In again.🙂

The pillows felt rough! Me and my youngest struggled with the pillows on our first night there. Also, there was adequate hooks on the bathroom. Personally, I think you need at least 6 - 8 double hooks on the bathroom door.

Avoid in hot weather

Very dated needs modernising. Red hot no air conditioning. We had to take the mattress off the bed and put it on the floor next to the window asked to move rooms and they wouldn’t. Wouldn’t even give us an extra fan for the kids. No mini fridge in room. Terrible nights sleep
