Excellent value for money especially when ‘surge pricing’ excludes the other city centre accommodations are

I was checked in by Mr Jaz who went out of his way to meet me at the property at a time that suited me best. Check in was easy and Jaz was polite, cheerful and helpful.

There was black mould on the wall in the hallway cupboard which kind of spoiled an otherwise clean and presentable property.

A Beautiful and Secured One

It was clean and the heater works, the lighting is good too

I didn’t like at first that we were moved to a different location, was a skeptical but the guy was nice. But the place was clean and beautiful art on the wall as well. Again I think the TV was really poor and very boring to watch

Bit of a hidden gem, if you can get it!

Great size, stunning view and convenient location. Very comfortable (firm) bed. Everything works nicely, and the kitchen is well equipped. Really helpful and friendly staff. Building is clean and secure. Excellent underground parking.

Oldish TV (not internet ready). Fine for watching standard channels though. A couple of scruffy corners, and would be nice with additional soft furnishing.

Perfect for my needs

The apartment was super- clean and spacious with everything needed for a short stay. The location was great - just five minutes' walk from the Cathedral and city centre. There was also secure parking which is rare in the city. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the cost was reasonable. I will definitely book here again if I'm back in Leicester.

This is probably an individual thing, but the mattress was a bit hard for me. However, it would probably suit others just fine. It would have been better with more tea, coffee, sugar and milk (and some biscuits would be nice!) but this isn't a B&B, it's an apartment and there was enough to keep you going until you could replenish it.

Ideal for our needs

The location and facilities were ideal. It was extremely comfortable - perfect for our needs, with the bath and reliability of the hot water at any time of day a particular highlight.

A relatively minor point, given the overall facilities, but while the balcony was welcome in good weather, it was a shame there was no way to keep its door open, with it slamming shut every time we ventured out.

Exceptionally calm beautiful building. But staff allowed annoying defects.

Sound insulation so good that I lost that persistent feeling that the neighbours and I are too close. I often forgot about them. Location almost ideal. On river bank in historic area; near city without the bustle.

1. There were two main customer facing staff when I was there, who gave me their nicknames as "Ali" and "Jazz". One or both of them may have been during the temporary period of my stay replacements for the usual staff. In the first week when I went out into the city I got exceptionally bad depression, so bad that I sometimes found it difficult to talk to people and to string a sentence together. Perhaps some staff intended it. If they did, and had their reasons, they did not tell me what they were. This may have gone further into threats to townspeople. I do not know whether anyone caused this, or who. That is my guess. 2. Small, silly, cheap things were not there. Basin drain had a bad plug and no cover grill so I lost a small toothbrush down the U-tube. Few kitchen utensils. Saucepans without lids. I asked for a light bulb in the oven; a bin bag which fitted the bin; a less blunt kitchen knife. These did not appear. What a waste of a fitted kitchen and a great building!

Great location & apartment but disabled guests have no escape plan incase of an emergency.

Great location and a well-equipped apartment. Opposite Castle Gardens and 5 minute walk to De Montfort University's main campus. 5-minute walk to Tescos and 10 minutes to get into City Centre.

Having a t-towel would have been useful. However, the biggest issue was that I was on the 5th floor and the fire alarm within the block went off twice in one afternoon. I had my daughter visiting (pre-arranged) as she's at university in Leicester. She is a wheelchair user and there were no instructions about how a disabled person would get out of the building in case of a fire. Obviously, we wouldn't use the lift but there are no details for how to escape. Thankfully both times the alarm stopped just as we were leaving the apartment but in case of a real emergency a disabled person wouldn't know what to do. Also, the bath was really slippy (shower over the bath) getting & & out as no mat or anything to hold onto,

The location is the best ever, just down the hill from the city, very convenient. Will definitely stay here again, the apartment is more than expected and the staff, Josh I believe his name was very accommodating, actually went out of his way, quite often. Excellent value and very comfortable.

Liked the location, the apartment was clean & really nice. All the facilities were sufficient.

The TV had no signal & also the doors could use wedges to hold them because we had to be created & use hard paper to keep them open, otherwise they bang to close.

Go-to apartments in Leicester

The apartment was spacious with alot of facilities, a washing machine, kitchenware, microwave and more. The kitchen was separate from the bedroom which was great. The bed was comfy and whole apartment very clean. Extra cleaning stuff were provided like dish towel, washing-up liquid etc which wax helpful. Food got delivered safely too.

The shower water pressure was nonexistent, so hard to shower. Needed a bit more communication from staff about how to get keys and check in. Very loud noise in the early hours from students and people on the street outside the bullding.

Perfect place to stay in Leicester

We asked to extend our stay by another 5 nights - no problem, and at same price. The flat was ideal for self catering for 2 weeks. There was a full kitchen (including dishwasher and washing machine). Also a good satellite TV, sofa and dining table and chairs, and a comfortable bedroom. The car park was so easy to use - drive in and take lift to floor. The location was good - right by the cultural quarter, and a short walk down the high st to the very centre of Leicester. Luckily we know Leicester well, but would recommend a sat nav to find the place. The staff were readily available (phone up when you arrive as the outside doors are locked) and very friendly and helpful. Will definitely book again.

Just a few niggles: the door onto the balcony was difficult to close, and there was no key. The bathroom floor needs attention to missing grout and some cracked tiles And the alarm went off twice; we know not why. But generally it was very clean and comfortable, and we would highly recommend.

Good access to Town and Great views of Cannal

Overall it was a comfortable stay kitchen pits a bit sparse for a family unit. But it was clean and welcoming, with fresh towels and complimentary kitchen and bathroom bits.

Corridors sometimes had strong body odour smell. No lids for the two pots provided.
