The hotel is great and have a walkable parking option which makes it great if you have a car. It’s also very close to amenities and shops.

Very clean, great location and great friendly staff.

The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, especially the lady at check in. The room was clean, modern and had everything you needed. You won’t be disappointed by breakfast or your your stay!

What a lovely find. Very comfortable hotel in the middle of town. Lovely big room. Very friendly staff.

- No bottled water in room. - Fridge in room was empty, so no mini bar. - A diamond earring was accidentally dropped down the bathroom sink. We were told maintenance doesn't work weekends. Surely the busiest times for a hotel are the weekends. We were told we'd have to wait till Monday, but we were checking out Sunday. My partner took the u-bend apart ourselves. Very unimpressed with the hotel lack of help! - Came back to the hotel bar at 00:45am for a nightcap. We were doing an early 'end of shift cash-up' so it was card only. We only had cash, we were told we had to pay the exact monies. - We asked for the night drinks booked to our room (easier than the payment debacle) and we're told they cant do that!? Ridiculous. - the night bar manager spoke to us aggressively. Her colleague asked "why you in a bad mood", she said that it was a previous guest who called her 'dumb' and spoke to her rudely. It was not professional to hear the manager openly talk about another guest like that. I was very unhappy with this terrible behaviour. - At breakfast the bread loaf had no cloth over it to hold the bread whilst cutting. So, multiple hands all over the bread loafs. Disgusting and very unhygienic. - On checkout, when asked how our stay was, my partner mentioned we had some issues, and the man behind the desk didnt respond and just turned back to his computer. Totally uninterested. A 4 star hotel with 2 star staff! This hotel is a massive disappointment and we do not recommend it.

Very convenient but didn’t like the fact there was rubbish lighting in the room and no place to work on a laptop apart from a very precarious coffee table Considering we all use laptops and devices these days being able to use them other than on your lap should be standard For this reason I wouldn’t choose this hotel again

Room was really nice staff really nice

The car park was hard to find when dark even if folloing the postcode provided, poorly signposted. Reception staff were great no complaints, the whole hotel is spotless , very clean indeed. Breakfast is served until 9:30 and I went down to eat at 8:35am. Both of the 2 coffee machines were out of action and being cleaned for the entire 20 minutes i was in the restaurant meaning no coffee or tea available. "Chefs" were walking in and out of the restaurant wearing outdoor clothing including hats which surely raises questions over kitchen heigine? There were 2 rashers of bacon left swimming in grease and were not replenished in 20 minutes, pale sausages to the point where you couldnt risk eating them and in 20 minutes no hot food was replenishes. Orange juice was empty meaning the only liquid available was Apple Juice. There were 2 members of staff on duty, one of which kept disappearing and the other one was spending 90% of the tine cleaning both coffee machines. If they needed cleaning surely ckean one at a time so coffee is available? I paid £161 for the room and would question whether it was worth the money in all honesty. Location is amazing, reception and cleaning staff great but the whole experience let down so badly by breakfast and poorly signed parking. Could be great with a little more attention.

Comfortable, clean, spacious and quiet

The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were welcoming and hospitality was excellent. The food was fresh.

The room was very nice but would have been helpful if bathroom had a lock. The room service could be more better they didn’t understand English much and one time the lady refused to give glasses as her work time had ended which was quite ridiculous. Otherwise everything else was nice just the room service needs alot of improvement. Thanks

We found the hotel very clean up to date and staff very helpful

Rooms were great. Bar and restaurant staff not so great. Understand they have to comply with rules but with children and attending for a funeral. Not very family friendly. Or very understanding. Service should also be with a smile. Was very difficult to see this too. Just need to be more empathetic to the guests. Sad as use to be one of our favourites! prefer the vocco. Reception were great and helpful.

Me and my partner stayed for the weekend and we haven’t got one complaint, the room, hotel and the view was amazing. Everything was so clean and the customer service was outstanding and helpful. They also had a great bar with loads of choices or drinks and a lounge area, it’s a great place to stay and have a relaxing time away. So happy with our stay and will definitely be going back!

The water bottle kept in the room tasted odd.
