Nicely decorated.

Most of the staff were rude, also as it’s adjoining rooms you can hear absolutely everything word someone in the rooms next to you says. It’s very noisy as a result, and I was woken up and kept awake at 1am just by the room next to mine chatting.

Very good hotel, very minor things let it down.

Lovely room, breakfast and bed. Liked that the TV could be linked to my phone due to fast wifi. We were able to watch TV from my phone on the TV. Good facilities, mini bar was okay for soft drinks. Staff were all very friendly and made us feel safe during our stay.

Advised that we would be given a bath, we had a shower cubicle only. I paid more money to have a deluxe room with a view, the window was filthy so we could not see through the window well at all! Could have had a better selection on the mini bar.

Comfortable and good central location.

Great location in the centre, although a little tucked away behind an ugly ncp car park. Room was comfortable, clean plenty of power sockets, TV was a good size. Beds very comfortable. Bathroom a good size and towels were a decent size. Reception, lobby and bar all clean, staff friendly. Nice having checkout at 12 (unlike those premier lodge places), and not needing to rush in the morning. Price was acceptable and competitive for a central location. The Highcroft rooftop car park was close by - few mins walk and definitely worth parking there to get a good rate on parking. Bizarre that the NCP didn't do a deal as its next door - its a £18 difference between the Highcroft car park once you have entered your reg at reception and the NCP for 24 hours.

If I was being super critical, there were no liners in the bins in the room, perhaps this is a sustainability thing as the number of rooms x the number of plastic bags would be significant but if you have just made a cup of tea, where do you put a wet tea bag? It was difficult to light the whole room in one - lots of lights with separate switches, would have been good to have had more downlights controlled by one switch instead of having to switch on each individually to get a good amount of light, which even then left some areas darker than others. Didn't affect us but if I was doing some work I would prefer a lot of light in the room. Also, aesthetically the corridor was totally grey - walls, doors and carpet - could have done with being a bit more colourful. Didn't affect our stay, just an observation.

Loved the room size. Everything was spacious and all in one room the bed was big and very comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was okay a choice of what ever took your fancy also had a little lunch which was very nice

Not much to be fair the only thing was we had a spot of lunch and ordered 2 hot drinks. When they arrived I was a bit disappointed that they were served in takeaway cups.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome and taken care of. The check-in process was smooth, and every team member I interacted with was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The location couldn’t be better. It’s close to everything I needed, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and local attractions

Very central. Excellent breakfast. Staff are exceedingly helpful, led by a very active and on-the-ball manager who turns his hand to any job.

Some rooms can be cold. If you ask, they will provide a heater or another room if available. This is for info, not complaint.

Ease of access to the centre of Leicester. Clean and presentable. Staff were amazing and helped us immensely. Dinner in the restaurant - mushroom risotto was the best I have had in a long time. Kids loved their meals too. Breakfast was great.

Had premium room, but somehow seemed bare. Had 1 teabag on hospitality tray, no biscuits or bottles of water. Toiletries in the bathroom as usual but products seemed watered down? The shower gel went straight through my shower scrunchie and landed on the shelf beneath. Bed and pillows seemed a little too firm for both my husband and I..No spare pillows or covers in the room, no bath robes. Breakfast buffet was very average, orange juice tasted watery, fresh fruit salad was mainly apple. No Earl Grey teabags. Relatively limited selection all round definitely gave impression of cut backs.
