This is not an hotel, and it is dificult to get in tuche with her right people. The room it self is ok, but the room is in 3 floor with no elevator. Antogher thing is that you can not regulate the ovns/heaters and in vintertime in Leicter it get real cold.

The room was clean, very spacious and well appointed. It's all self service with no F&B so you have to go out to eat. The shower was hot and powerful, with a huge bath. The room was just a little cold, but it's an old buildings

On arrival, the key for room one didnt work well. I tried to get in my room and failed. Then asked a passer by who also failed tomopen it. By luck, it eventually opened but as a woman on my own, I got nervous about it not working when I got back late. So had to keep the door ajar for safety so I knew it was open when I got back. The room itself was beautiful , just stressful getting in.

The staff very polite and friendly, there are few shops nearby. The position is excellent. Unfortunately is very noisy , and before 2pm you are not able to be quiet. The room was very clean , just please double check the toilet paper, don't supply just the minimum quantity.

Our team member on viewing the room and the establishment refused to stay. As we are local we personally visited the accommodation on 13th Oct and it was clear it did not meet our standards. Based on the images of the property on Hotels.com we were surprised with what e found. To be honest we were shocked by the state of the decor, the dirty and worn fixtures and fittings and the general poor upkeep of the property. We were further shocked when we walked into the cold, poorly lit vestibule, safe keys with homemade paper numbers stuck on the wall, up to the top floor along what can only be described as a dilapidated staircase with a awful worn ill fitting carpet and entered the room to find the door was old and not a tight / secure fit (certainly not a place I'd want to stay, never mind a lone female). The bathroom has a light fitting that doesn't appear to be sealed (bathroom safe?) and certainly not fit for commercial use and worse still the light fitting in the bedroom is hanging from the ceiling showing exposed wires. The general state of presentation is extremely poor and not to the standard we would choose for our team members. We write this in the genuine hope that the owners

Its a good location but the building is all a bit old and tatty - although room and bathroom were clean there are nicer places to stay in Leicester. The price was cheaper than other places so i should have known. But i guess it was OK. There was NO parking on site - so you have to pay for that unlike other places

Excellent value for money in Leicester city Centre. Room is very spacious, quiet and comfortable. Great coffee machine and mini fridge for those who need it. Could use an in room safe for those who bring valuables.

Great position in the city, free parking, spacious room, but very hot (in July). Altho there was a fan, it was too noisy to leave on at night. A bit disconcerting to have someone trying to enter the room at 01:15 saying that the key to our room had been allocated to him! It was lucky that there was a chain on the door that we'd chosen to use.

Fabulous stay. I checked in online the evening before as the property does not have a recpetion. We got there about 3pm and the PIN we were sent was wrong. Luckily a man was there who helped by phoning for us. We were not informed of which room we had or how to access the key. Once again the man (sorry we do not know who he was) helped us - thank goodness. The hotel was beautiful. The location was very centeral but quiet. A huge and very clean room really good and comfortable. The password for the wifi on an information sheet in the room omitted the second exclamation mark. Had to email the main hotel to get the correct password. Wonderful hotel and would definately stay again but they do need to improve their communication

The property is not staffed, I arrived and my room key was not there, turned out my room was already booked and someone in it. No alternate rooms in this or sister hotel. Not at toy by them to help find another hotel. Not heard directly from the hotel to apologise or arrange refund / compensation. All round poor.

Pain in the back side, when no reception. Probably my fault for not reading full script. Codes for doors and parking night mare, so spent ages waiting for help. Will be staying in a proper hotel next time. And by the way, room was not that clean or what I had hoped for.

Middle of the town so good for food etc..... parking was good i did struggle to find it, even when i got the map , probably just me ….. Room was clean and tidy, nice big smart TV , good coffee machine bed was comfy, shower / bath could do with a slip mat but all in all it was fine. I stayed in room 4 which was up a few very steep stairways i would not recommend if you struggle physically to be honest.

The rooms are in an historic, listed building, so there are quirks and without the radiators it can be chilly, so if staying in the winter months consider bringing a cosy dressing gown to wrap up in, especially after a relaxing soak in the huge bathtub. The coffee machine and chocolates were a wonderful treat. As was waking up right in the city centre.

The room was great, comfortable and clean but unfortunately the sash windows are loose so were rattling loudly throughout the night so I couldn't get any sleep. I contacted the hotel to see if anything could be done to compensate but was told that because it's a grade 2 building it's a characteristic of the accommodation. What I would suggest is putting some wooden wedges around the window frame to eliminate the movement. If it wasn't from the noisy windows preventing me from getting to sleep I'd give this hotel 5 stars.

Unusual setup and the check-in procedure was slightly confusing when I received it, but the room was spacious and comfortable and so was the bathroom. Location was excellent.

Can't rate the staff because there weren't any. TV didn't work. Too late to complain (I guess flat batteries in the remote) Sink plug didn't work (a common hotel problem) My biggest bug bear was that I received 14 e-mails either from the hotel or Expedia - just for a one night stay - ridiculous!

Beautiful venue, spacious room, amazing location, great communications and instructions beforehand. Really comfortable bed. However it was freezing cold!! Even with the radiators on full blast they stayed luke warm and the room and bathroom never warmed up. Water pressure in bath/shower also quite low. I would stay again if these areas were looked at.

The room is big as well as the bathroom. Free parking onsite was a bonus. What I really don’t like is below our window they loaded after a party in the hotel, a van until 2am which made us not being able to sleep. This should not be allowed by the hotel.

The property was lovely. The room was very spacious including the bathroom. The bath was amazing! The only issue was that the tv signal was very bad, even on the apps. It was reported to staff who said that maintenance would call but no-one came to fix it! Could possibly do with a new mattress as the right side was dipped. Apart from that it was a lovely place.

The building is charming, the room was large and well appointed, the linen, towels and room was fresh and clean and the bed was comfortable the only down side my room was at the top of the building and it took a very long time for the hot water to reach the room and the town clock tower was right outside the bedroom window, it strikes every quarter of an hour ALL through the night, I assume the building is listed as it only has wooden single glazed windows so didnt cut out the noise at all. The hotel had provided earplugs on the bedside cabinet, so must be aware of the noise from the clock. This is a real shame as I am working for a extended period in Leicester and I would have happily stayed here had it not been for the noise.

The room was nice and clean and was pretty spacious with plenty of daylight. The location is very central so the included parking is essential. I'd describe this as basic accommodation as it's a wedding venue. When there is no event they let out the rooms but with no staff on site or any of the usual hotel facilities. Entry instructions are emailed the day before your stay - beware Google mail send this to spam. Access to the rooms is up several flights of steep stairs so unsuitable for those who struggle with this.
