The hotel is very conveniently located near Leicester railway station and the centre of the town. The room was a decent size, plenty of power points, comfortable bed, good shower with plenty of hot water. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. Fresh drinking water available in the foyer/bar area at all times and the breakfast was plentiful. Very good value for money.
It felt a bit odd walking into an unmanned portion of the hotel and having to go upstairs to check in but I appreciate this is to facilitate guests arriving by car, which is fair enough. The towels in the bathroom were not the softest but sufficient.

Great location, right next to the train station, a 5-10 minute walk into the city centre and only a 20 minute walk from Welford Road Stadium.
Breakfast was your standard hotel affair, it could perhaps have been a bit warmer but not a deal breaker, especially given the price paid for it when added to the room.

Room was excellent and tastefully decorated although could have been more generous with more tea bags, milk and coffee sachets however. Perfect temperature at night and super comfortable beds. Noisey people coming back in late at night. Was told by reception breakfast served until 10.30 but then on morning told it would finish at 10am luck for us we got there in time. Few people there before us greedy and took loads of bread, crossiants etc none left for us. However enough left for us to both have a full English. Was allowed to leave our bags there next day after we checked out whilst we went shopping, would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again.
more tea and coffee and milk in room.

Central to the train station and close proximity to local shops. The breakfast menu is also very nice. Very clean and friendly staff.
Room a bit small but it’s still very decent. No complaints.

Just a short walk from the train station, spotless.
Climate control was really loud, struggled to sleep with it on, but was freezing with it off.

The property location is great, only a few minutes from where we needed to be which is the main reason we booked.
After checking in, i went to make a hot drink & when i picked up one of the coffee cups & turned it over it was dirty & had dried up coffee/drink. Clearly from when someone else has used it previously.

It's exactly what is says on the tin - a great budget hotel. Room was on a main road, but quiet. Just on the edge of town but perfect for what I needed. Breakfast was good. Room was comfortable. Ibis hotels have a slight air of 'cruise ship' with their bathrooms but it did the job.
The price whilst good, did not feel great.

We chose the hotel as it was close to the station and city centre for the Christmas market, and having stayed at Ibis/Accor hotels on several occasions both in the UK and overseas I was understandably hopeful of the same level of comfort and service.
Upon check-in at 5pm, we were harassed at the reception/bar area by a very drunk man who the staff seemed to know/be aware of but did nothing about, which immediately put us on edge.
We were then allocated our rooms on the 4th floor and informed that the lift was out of order - upon reaching the 4th floor up a very tired and grubby set of stairs that smelt strongly of cannabis we reached our rooms. By which time one of my friends who suffers from a chronic back condition was in agony but didn’t want to worry us as we were exhausted from a long day already 😢
The lift door on the 4th floor had a sign on it saying that the lift would be out of order until 31 DECEMBER 2026!
During our stay, we encountered a number of residents wandering the corridors looking “out of it” and a strong smell of cannabis in the corridors. We also came across people smoking drugs in the hotel car park and in various states of undress.
My room was tired and shabby with a TV hanging off the wall and disgustingly stained carpets, which meant that I had to keep shoes on just to walk around the room as god knows what the stains were - see pics 🤢
The “mattress” was an absolute joke. A thin piece of foam with an ill-fitting cover atop and uncovered hessian base type thing.
On returning that evening after a meal, another guest was at reception explaining that she couldn’t sleep as her toilet was constantly flushing. The person on reception said there was nothing they could do as the maintenance person only works Mon-Fri! What sort of hotel doesn’t have access to a 24/7 emergency repairs service?! Especially one that is part of an international chain of hotels!
Not accessible due to out of order lift. Hotel clearly being used to as overspill local authority housing, with residents with obvious substance abuse issues wandering the corridors making it feel very unsafe, particularly for women travellers. The rooms were dirty and shabby.

Found the hotel a complete value for money with extremely convenient location. Breakfast spread was nice, and the breakfast room had a nice view.
The lift wasn't working, which was quite inconvenient. However, the staff was accommodative to ensure that the room given was on the first floor (and not on one of higher floors) as we had lot of luggage with us.
Also, the bathroom door should have a latch inside for complete privacy.

Ideal location, lovely staff, clean & well priced
Only negative was the lift wasn’t working. No hassle for us & we were warned beforehand via an email. Could be a problem for others but didn’t spoil our stay

Central location near station, clean, very polite staff , breakfast was decent value
Heating very noisy so couldn’t have it on at night, no lifts but to be fair they did alert us beforehand. Pillows were like bricks!
