Not worth the money, very bad service and unclean rooms

Good location, comfortable

Staff were rude or missing in action, dusting was not done, rooms were not kept well. Really bad for the price, executive lounge had no service. Worse Marriot I have been to. We escalated the complaint. It was not worth the money we paid for it

I should not have to pay for parking at a hotel when there are many which include parking free

Lovely hotel.

They charged me £10 for parking my car at the hotel. I have stayed here previously and this did not happen. I have friends local where I could have left me car. A total liberty.

Favourite hotel and another fantastic stay!

We needed extra water late at night and called down to reception and they brought it up straight away. The service is above and beyond. The room as usual was fantastic. Large, clean and the most comfortable bed!

The only thing to improve would be the check in process. Had a wait a while in the queue and the parking charge has increased

Nice hotel, well appointed and good value

Was okay for the price *on a Sunday evening. However, It was empty and the price was lower than usual. Any more and it would have seemed expensive for what it was

Very clean spacious rooms, staff at the desk were a little unfriendly, thats my only criticism. Location was excellent too!

Super clean amd comfortable hotel

The hotel has a unique interior design that I did really like. The room and corridors were perfectly clean, and there was a pleasant smell everywhere. :)

There could have been a little more gluten-free options at breakfast, and a microwave would be nice to be able to heat alternative milks. This is not a criticism, just a suggestion.

Very comfortable, lovely food in the restaurant and we would certainly go back.

Staff professional yet very approachable. First room was fine but the air conditioning didn't work. It was no trouble for reception and as it happened we were upgraded. Restaurant food and service very good.

We both felt that the location would be difficult to find without GPS. The road layout after leaving the M69 is too complex for visitors to Leicester.

Would definitely return, was perfect for our needs (and had no problem accommodating a family).

Plenty of amenities and services. Marriott actually took us in (with a baby) on the day as we had issues with another booking in Leicester and had to urgently seek emergency accommodation. The service and staff were wonderful, parking cost is very reasonable and there’s plenty of parking. We felt safe and welcome.

Shower over the bath combo makes it quite easy to accidentally spray water over the floor (not a perfect seal between the glass and bathtub) but we’re really not bothered by that. The only simple improvement I’d love in any/all hotels is adding a coin operated laundry as families often need to wash bits of baby clothes.

They needed another member of serving staff at the restaurant. I asked for something from a staff member on both nights and from memory I think both nights the person said "yes I'll get that" and never returned. But that was because they were just so busy.
