Great place to stay if attending the football.

It was clean and location was excellent if attending the football. Staff were friendly.

The staff i met at reception in the morning was good willing to help and listen.

Service from reception, night staff was a bit rude and unfriendly. Breakfast was poor. The room had bad odour.

Comfortable beds, good breakfast, lovely staff but cold in the common parts.

The room was clean and well appointed. There was plenty of parking. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. Breakfast was as expected and there was plenty of it.

No mention on the website that access on a match day could be extremely difficult depending on time of arrival. The lack of food due to some items not being available and when it did come it was lukewarm, although you could order in a takeaway which was only mentioned on the second night. While mention was made that the air conditioning was broken and heaters could be obtained for the rooms, the common parts were pretty chilly.

At the time of our visit the air conditioning system wasn’t functioning. There was an oil-filled radiator available but went off when the card was removed.

Great hotel for the money

Spacious room, friendly and efficient staff, comfortable bed, good shower, free parking and continental breakfast included. Great location for the uni , football stadium and hospital. About 20 minutes walk to the centre of town.

Air-conditioning was a bit noisy but a separate fan and heater were provided and the room temp was fine, so not a big issue. The room lighting could have been more easily adjustable..we couldn't work out how to just have the bed side lights on without the main light.. but that may have been us..

If you are going to then football this is THE place to stay!

I was in Leicester for a football match at the Kingpower Stadium and the Hotels location was impeccable ! Literally next to the Stadium, the room was comfortable and had all the facilities necessary.

It was a very good experience overall. The staff at reception was very hospitable and helpful.

Breakfast: good and served in time. Wish there were boiled, poached or omelette option in addition to scrambled eggs. Room: clean and cosy. Toilets were clean so were towels. Room temperature could have been better as it was cold winter night. There was an electric room heater but it was too small to heat the room properly. Bed: very comfortable and supportive mattress. Clean and cosy. Pillows were bit of an issue as they were thick but soft did not support neck shoulder space for comfortable sleep.

An enjoyable budget friendly stay

I had a view of the football stadium and there is lots of parking on the property. The staff are very friendly. The room and lobby were very clean.

The rooms lighting was terrible. One switch controlled all the lights and the lighting was very dim.

Good hotel

Nice and clean and breakfast included...nice touch. Free 24hr parking so if you come later you have parking sorted. Then you can take a cab or walk(25 mins) into centre, or watch the football of course...

Apart form the check out - everything was good

The second bed was much better than the one we encountered at the one in Manchester

As a member I was told that I could have a later check out. Reception told me this had to be at 12pm because Leicester were playing. However a member of the cleaning staff knocked on the door at 11am and despite me explaining we could check out at 12, she told us we had to get out of the room. One of the reasons why we booked it was because my daughter was at a swim England camp in Loughborough and we needed a later check out, so that was disappointing- as I was told that this was one of the benefits of being a member

We were very grateful to the nice lady that recommended a restaurant in Leicester for us.

Breakfast was good. Reception staff were lovely and very helpful.

The toilet in room 503 did not flush properly and took a very long time to refill!! Did mention it immediately and the very nice lady on the desk went and checked it whilst we went out. The problem still remained and we found it had an impact on the enjoyment of the stay. We are elderly people and do need to use the toilet frequently through the night.

pillows a bit hard. it offered option of softer one if I went to reception but I didn’t find out about hardness till I was in bed. Also only 2 tea bags and 2 coffee capsules provided, we had a cuppa on arrival and one at night so there was none left for the morning.

Underwhelming

All the staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean.

It was a bit shabby, in need of a refurbishment. Corridors leading to our room hadn’t been vacuumed. Room look very tired, had very noisy air vent heating. Lights were either all on or all off, very annoying you couldn’t just turn the bedside lights on. Breakfast was included, but it wasn’t very nice.
