Comfortable

It is quite central for La Spezia and there is a public parking 50m from the hotel.

I found the hotel lacking in soul, the beds are comfortable enough and the rooms are well maintained

Good city hotel close to the sea

The hotel is in a great location, close to the sea. The parking is about 50 metres away. WiFi worked very well.

The food at breakfast was quickly used up and not replenished quickly enough, so we often had to wait. Coffee facilities in the room would have been welcome

Rather poor value for money, overrated hotel.

Breakfast was nice and varied.

Staff - separated the family at 7th and 4th floor despite our request to give rooms on the same floor. Room was very basic, bathroom very small.

I was surprised to get a free upgrade and probably was the best room in the hotel, customer service was good

As good as the room was, the bed, however, was not up to standard at all. The bed did not feel like the quality one expects from a brand like NH. i could feel the springs of the bed throughout the night and i kept waking up.

Trip to Cinque Terra

The hotel is in a great location for central La Spezia, even parking was really easy.

Accommodations were excellent, breakfast was great

Even though it was advertised as having air conditioning, the would not turn it on and explained that they only turn it on late May. This should have been said prior on booking site

Fantastic location. Just minutes from the port and tree-lined Viale Italia promenade. The restaurant, the menu, and its staff were very attentive and abundant, which was a pleasant surprise considering the remainder of the property’s lack of charm.

Outdated, broken, non-functional amenities and furnishing. Reception staff arrogantly unhelpful in finding a solution for to accommodate my teenage daughter in the same room because she was 13 years old. No extra bed options, despite having booked 3 rooms for my family. They also put us on the worst floor possible - non renovated, ghastly ambience, - with a bunch of school children making a lot of noise, and claimed it was probably because we checked in late. Totally not worth the almost 200 EUR a night per room. Not even for 100. I had to eventually separate from my family and go find another hotel recommended by the manager (apparently he was sending everyone there), which looked and felt like an old-person care facility. Very disappointing service, or a complete lack thereof. No apology was extended and the manager quickly made excuses insinuating this was my fault. Would not recommend this experience to anyone!

the Wi-Fi is terrible, didn’t work in our room. and when works, they offer you a reduced speed and asks you to pay, it is ridiculous for 4star hotel do this…

Everything else was up to the standards of a 4stars hotel

apparently there was construction going on in the building, both Friday and Saturday at 8 in the morning there were already people drilling

Pleasant

Nice place, nice localization but the hotel need to put more attention in little things that to them don't cost too much to fix it and for us it's a big difference.
