L'Aia Country Holidays

Would recommend and stay again! Location was close to our relative that we were visiting. About a 15 min car ride to Siena. Staff was great. Breakfast was nice - nothing special - coffee, juices, tray of pastries, tray of cheese and salami. Room was rustic, but adequate. Could have had a comfortable chair. We stayed in a large room that had a queen and 2 twin beds. It had a series of a few steps to gain entrance to our room. There were 2 steps down to get to our bathroom. Three separate guest rooms shared a common kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave and sink with drinkable water. Room had coffee and tea set up. What really sells this hotel is the large outdoor pool surrounded by olive trees and beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside. The grounds were landscaped very nicely with flowering bushes and flower pots. Needed a key to drive into the property, but gate to street is unlocked.

A comfortable chair would have been very welcome.

The setting was beautiful and had a lovely rustic feel. The grounds with the swimming pool were well looked after and had many places to sit and look out of the Tuscan countryside.

Our room had a very small shower cubicle that wasn’t easy to manoeuvre in. It was obviously quite old and had seen better days, this was the only negative thing we had in our stay.

The location was excellent - so peaceful and relaxing. We had the best nights sleep in a very comfortable bed!

It would have been useful to have things supplied in the property like tea towels, kitchen roll, hand soap, etc. The amenities outside were really great, the pool was lovely with a great view! We did notice that the football goal and badminton nets/rackets were very worn through good use and need replacing.
