Magione 10 is a charming apartment in the heart of the historic center of Siena, inside Porta Camollia. Recently renovated in 2023, it is located along the Via Francigena, within walking distance of Il Campo (900 m) and just 400 m from the escalator that connects the train station to the city center. The independent ground-floor entrance opens onto the characteristic 'Vicolo della Magione,' in the heart of the Contrada dell'Istrice.
The apartment features a modern design, with a play of colors, volumes, and carefully planned lighting that creates a pleasant and contemporary atmosphere.
The space is spread over two levels: the ground floor hosts the living area, while the sleeping area is slightly elevated. The apartment also includes a spacious bathroom and a practical utility room used for laundry and storage.
The living area consists of three distinct spaces: kitchen, dining, and relaxation. The kitchen is fully equipped with a worktop, induction stove, dishwasher, fridge, and sink. The dining area, which seats up to six guests, overlooks a charming alley. In the relaxation area, there is a sofa that can be converted into a French double bed (140 cm wide), and a 40" Panasonic Smart TV TX-40DE400E completes the space.
Five easy steps lead to the two double bedrooms. The first bedroom features a French double bed (140 cm wide), a wardrobe, and a 27" LG Smart TV 27TQ615S. The second, larger bedroom has a 160 cm bed, a wardrobe, a second 27" Smart TV, and an elegant antique writing desk.
The bathroom is modern and functional, with a spacious 150 cm shower enclosed by a sliding glass door.
The basement offers a versatile space with a sink, washing machine, ironing board, and areas for luggage and bicycle storage.

Giovanni is an excellent communicator, let’s start there. Everything was communicated well and accurately, in order to best plan for the experience in Siena. All details were communicated efficiently, effectively, and timely. Upon arrival, we were very confused about parking outside the historic center of Siena. Giovanni communicated the best possible drop off spot for luggage and then parking. *Note*: Park at the Siena train station [2 euros / day], go into the mall area, go left to the PAM store, purchase all your essentials, and ride the escalators and moving sidewalks to the street side of Siena. you will be two blocks away from Porto Camilo: the very drop off point of your luggage [this process requires two people]. You are then a very short walk to Magione 10. Now, the apartment is SPECTACULAR! It is immaculate, well appointed, and all the amenities you could need. We prepared several meals there and exercised the dishwasher. The washing machine is conveniently located in the basement area and did the job of cleaning prior Rome tours. The beds are very comfortable, as are the pillows. *Note: you are on the end of Siena that is out of the fray of all the heavy tourism of the Duomo area. Otherwise, you will have noise and more noise as you try to rest. Giovanni was always a text away and was a very good concierge for our seemingly endless questions. He sent .pdf files for our reference, as well as personal suggestions for dinner. This is the Siena experience you desire.

Giovanni and his family were the best hosts! The apartment is super cute and has everything you need. Everything was very clean. The location is great with easy access to town and everything. Street parking is just outside the wall about 5 min walk. The only negative is the location is noise til about 2am but that comes with the convenient location.

Our host Giovanni stayed in touch from the time of the booking. He share many wonderful tips on where to eat and visit. He and his family welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment is charming and the hosts provides so many little touched from beautiful linens, to bath amenities and a fully stocked kitchen. Everything is clean and in good working order. The locations is perfect to visit Tuscany, Florence or the beaches. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Giovanni and Marta. We came as strangers and left as friends. If you stay here, you will have a wonderful time and not want to leave.
