Wonderful hotel and spa, disappointing restaurant.

A beautiful hotel with beautiful rooms. We also enjoyed the spa for a day. The accommodation was also kind enough to decorate the room with roses (beautifully) for a fair price.

The restaurant had poor customer service. We wanted to make a reservation for the evening as it was our anniversary and we were told it’s not possible as it’s too full already. Meanwhile, it was very possible to book a reservation online for all time slots. My boyfriend later passed the restaurant in the evening and only very few tables were occupied? When we ate a quick bite there in the afternoon, we were left unattended after being served food as well. No one came to check in how we liked it (we would’ve liked to add some salt, but weren’t given a shaker either) and when we waited for half an hour after trying to catch employees attention, we headed inside to pay.

No value fir money and the facilities they present online are not a reflection of the real situation.

They advertise with a pool and spa which is why we booked the hotel outside of Heidelberg. But when you arrive the pool is only accessible when paying an additional €90 pp. and only for 16 years and older. after asking they were willing to lower the price to €40 for two hours. Very disappointing

Terrible experience

It was a terrible experience sleeping here. After check-in, we were told we would get a room without airconditioning. We went to the room and it was 30°C with no AC. There was a weak fan, that didnt help at all. We complained and all we got was a tiny table fan, that didn't help either. Because of the warmth in the room, we barely slept that night. Definitely not the comfort or service you’d expect from a 4-star hotel. We won’t be coming back.

Fine for adults but don't bring your kids if you want them to be able to use the pool.

The pool does not allow children, this was a surprise to us at check-in and was the reason we chose this hotel. Their website makes this detail very hard to find, deep in the FAQs

Not a good value for money, outrageously expensive for a simple room

Bed was more or less ok The vino shop had some nice choices

In industrial area next to a cement plant I guess, which of course you will not see on the photos. Not as romantic domain as they try to make it appear on the photos. The room was basic in an annex building,almost as if not part of the hotel. No fridge, no kettle, if you open the window you hear people talking till the middle of the night on the parking. The more you stay in it the more dingy it looked The breakfast was at the outrageous price of 24 eur per person which we did not take. I guess the offer is catered to ripping off travellers that will never come back and will not recommend the hotel.

Very nice stay with great food and wellness

The room was beautiful, bigger than expected and very comfy. We had all we needed for a pleasant stay. We loved wellness - we were alone there and the saunas were very nice. Also we had dinner at the restaurant and it was SO tasty. Worth every euro :)

It was quite problematic to find a parking spot.

Cool hide-away for a quick get-away!

Even though the property is quite far away from anything interesting, the size and styling of the complex makes up for everything. The rooms are very private, well furnished and well equipped

The location is hard to reach, especially without a car. Also public transport is quite far and fairly expensive, especially for visiting the city. (Not the hotel‘s fault though). Since it is in an industrial compound next to a cement factory, the view is also a bit „special“, especially from the higher level rooms.

Interesting hotel for a short stay near tourist destinations

Good value for money. Decent breakfast offer. Spacious rooms. Pleasant garden. Friendly and professional staff. Very good sauna wellness area.

Not enough garage parking spaces and no standardized vehicle charging stations available. Restaurant offered only buffet dinner. The neighborhood is nothing to write home about.
