A great hotel, especially if you're just passing through. The food is also very good.

The diner and breakfast staff was excellent, with great service and a lot of humor.

The room was very functional but could have been a bit more cozy.

Tried it once and decided to go somewhere else next time.

Clean and good location to reach everything in Stuttgart.

Staff at reception is slow and I had to wait > 10min to be able to pay for their parking fee. Could not get much sleep either because some drunk guests decided to sing in the hallway at 3am after their Volksfest visit. The hotel staff didn’t do anything about it.

Excellent restaurant with great dinners and wonderful breakfast. Restaurant staff was also quite friendly and helpful. Peaceful location, close to the hiking trails to the Baerenschlossle. Overall a peaceful and pleasant place to stay. Property could use a little refresh.

Internet kept going out in my room -- not reliable for business purposes. In the common areas it was fine.

Overall great, but parking too expensive!

I was using the hotel as a place to go bike riding, therefore the location was perfect, e.g., next to the woods. The breakfast buffet was very good and I liked that they opened at 6:30 AM which afforded one more flexibility. I found the hotel staff to be courteous and very helpful.

The location of the hotel is next to the woods, which means that there is no relatively close place to park your car. This means that one has to pay €9 per night to park their car, which in my viewpoint is way too much because one can NOT park on the curvy street and there is no nearby residential street to park at. I had dinner on the first evening and the appetizer was very good, but the main course of pasta was too dry. Surprising as I thought that pasta was an easy dish to prepare. There is no place to park one's bike other than next to the hotel, outside, therefore I ended up leaving my bike in my car. The hotel e-bikes would be okay for the city, and not too rough gravel trails, but opted not to use them.

Very cozy and comfortable

I was given a room under the roof and it was beautiful, big and cozy. It felt like sleeping in a old house, very nice! Even though the hotel building is old and some of the furniture is too, the mattress was perfect (and new, I think), which is important for a good sleep. Additionally, the room was very clean, and I think this is very important too. The bathroom is very small but functional, with a comfortable shower. The staff was friendly and helpful, everything seems to be well organized, and for breakfast there is a good buffet. Overall, I was very satisfied with the hotel.

For a 4 star hotel, some things were a little poor and could be improved, in my opinion. For example, the bathroom product are only one shampoo/shower cream and a handsoap. Why not add a conditioner or a body lotion, for example? Also maybe slippers in the room or little attentions like that would be nice to have. The hotel wifi is unstable and slow (at least on the top floor), and I think this could be improved.

Very good

Really nice location in the middle of nature, yet close to the city. The facilities were clean and it's a big property which makes you feel at ease. I stayed with my dog and it's perfect for walks as there are so many nature paths right there. Staff was very nice.

Everything is a bit dated and the mattresses were very uncomfortable which was unfortunate, because everything else was really nice.
