Ok hotel for a short trip.

- good location to the museum - rooms spacious enough

- a bit dated facilities - light outside not turned off during night. Impossible to get dark room.

Great location for the Technik Museum

Excellent location if you intend to visit the Speyer Technik Museum. A short walking distance there and to the city centre as well.

We would definitely stay again and can recommend the place for its location, breakfast and at staff.

Everything went smoothly. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast is excellent with extra items for kids and even a pancake machine. Our room, while small, was comfortable and well equipped. Room had an aircon which was desperately needed. They also run a small bar, have coffee, tea and some sweets in the reception area. We would definitely stay again and can recommend the place. It is within walking distance of the Technik Museum, the cathedral, inner city and the river.

Very minor improvement was that a request we made during our booking was confirmed by email but on the day we had to ask again for it. Also our door cards stopped working after the first night. All were dealt with swiftly and friendly by the staff and it did not feel bothersome. The reception and bar aircon was broken during our stay, as it was about 35 degree we felt bad for the staff. But it is going to be fixed shortly.

bathroom not so nice, the shower door was leaking very much, almost flooding the room carpet

Not in anyone’s control the building is showing its age, but quiet, friendly and has everything,

I liked the breakfast choices, the staff were nice, check in was easy, room was cleaned daily,,

The mattresses need changing, the carpets have some stains, otherwise this was a good hotel,,

The location was good, it was a short walk into town and there was a supermarket 5 minutes away. Free hot drinks, fruit and sweets during the day. Decent bed and shower

It was well-worn with considerable traffic noise on one side of the hotel and a distinctive smell of drains on the other. Old towels and an ill -fitting window. It reminded me of a cheap and cheerful hostel.

Very dirty and one room did not have towels, we asked and finally got some, but initially were told they might be out of towels for the day.

It was great! Only downfall was the room being too hot at night.

The staff were amazing!!! They went above and beyond to meet customer service. They helped heat up meals after hours and provided forks as well.

It’s in the perfect location, a few minutes waking distance for the Christmas market, city center, Sea Life and other museums.
