Great location, friendly staff and good food!

It was clean and convenient, the staff was very friendly and polite.

There was an odd smell in our room so we were moved to the room next to it. Issue was solved very quickly. Our extended family got a much nicer room in the newer part, which caused a bit of envy, but all in all we had a great time!

Do not pay for the Breakfast. It was a total joke especially for the price. Room had lots of road noise.

Clean & tidy, good location and small kitchen area.

No air conditioning, very poor design of bed location as it’s very heavy to move and very difficult to move around bed (see photos). Room is overlooked, so be careful walking around the room!

Ground floor room with good access for bikes

It wasn’t located where I was expecting it. You checked in at the restaurant and the room we had was up and around the corner.

Nice bathroom

Facilities are distant from reception, and the electronic key did not work. Two trips with luggage over cobblestones, and I had to return to get a working key an hour later.

the room was excellent as were the facilities within the room . easy location for viewing the town.

the rooms were in another location to the checkin/restaurant and were not easy to find. coffee was provided in the room but no tea. not vital but would have been a nice addition.

Not too happy.

Being charged extra on arrival than the agreed price only two days ago with an argument of high heating costs is spectacular irregular and probably illegal. Also offering so-called breakfast and extra charges for coffee sucks. And having neither coffee nor tea available in the rooms and not being able to even heat up water in a kettle didn't impress me either.

Our building was difficult to find, as it was a short walk from the “lobby” up a side ally about 3 blocks away. We definitely could’ve used a sign hanging over the door on the street.

Loved our stay in Speyer. room was adequate but did not feel welcomed at the property

Great location in the old city center. Having the larger room with sleeping loft and kitchenette allowed us to spread out and make breakfast.

Room was clean but a little tired. Carpets need replacing, both the drain in kitchen and bathroom leaked under sink. informed the cleaning staff about it but it was never fixed. Had to go down to the restaurant to find some cups for morning coffee. The cleaning crew was friendly however the staff for checking in which was cafe staff where unfriendly not even a welcome or greeting and offered no help with anything. All they did was hand me a key and gave me a room number and a bill for energy surplus.

Great room very poor staff

The accommodation was excellent i will give it a 11 out of 10,

The staff member who did my booking in at the Maximilian cafe smelt like a brewery a very strong smell of alcohol then send me to my accommodation which was at a different location, i gained access to a but it turned out to be the wrong site, i went back to the cafe and a different staff member give me poor directions to my room which i only found because the same card reader was on the wall for entry, there was no hotel name at my location a very poor service indeed

An enjoyable visit, would love to come back sometime

Nice, clean room located conveniently in the heart of the city. Easy walking to shops and restaurants, and the bus stop isn't far away either.

The air conditioning didn't work very well, which was a bit uncomfortable at times in the summer heat.

it was clean and had a modern bath.

It had a small room with an uncomfortable Murphy bed. It was way to small for a couple with suitcases. internet didn’t walk. No in-room phone to call reception.

The stuff is super nice. The Hotel is in the center city so you can go by walk and visit it.

we paid 210€ for 2 nights, there was nothing in the mini fridge even not cold water, No air-condition (it was 34°or more), the room was very small compared to the photos of their website.

Only one complaint: When we came, we opened the door by key and two adults and one child came out of the room. In times of COVID, we were unclear if COVID protocol had been observed.
