Perfect hotel to stay before and/or after a visit to the Technik Museum

Friendly staff. The rooms were comfortable although a bit older. Location is perfect for a Technik Museum visit and you can also easily walk to the city center from the hotel. Breakfast was good as well.

The staff were very friendly and professional; the breakfast was delicious. The location was easy to reach and there was plenty of parking available. The room was clean and comfortable.

The location is great if you would like to visit the Technikmuseum but just be aware that it's not central, i.e. in walking distance to the old town.

Best Hotel in this region!

This has to be my new favorite hotel for this region. Superb location. And the brekfast was the best! Safe parking. Fresh air, beautiful surroundings. There was a green parrot in the tree outside! I kid you not!

Convenient to city centre with a small walk. Always very helpful and lovely staff. Breakfast fantastic. Stayed here as a large family for years. Will keep doing so as we really enjoy it.

Perfect location and well connected

The room was small and cosy, perfect for a one night stay in Speyer. Located very well, its well served by buses and within waking distance from the Dom (15-20 min). Very nice breakfast.

The bathroom could be renovated a bit. For instance, the shower head was quite covered with calcar (totally understandable and common here in Germany, but I'd not expect it in a hotel), and the walls obviously need regular treatment and paint for the humidity. It was however overall fine for my stay.

One of the staff memebers had an attitude, they had cancled the wrong booking and she was adament that i had canceled it. The other staff memeber was better she sorted my room out and then admitted that they had cancled the wrong room.

Simple check-in, friendly staff. Quick walk to the museum, some restaurants at ~15 mins walk. Comfortable beds. Basic stay, matched description and pictures.

A lift would have been useful to get our bags upstairs.

Am Technikmuseum is a nice hotel next to the famous Technikmuseum and the city center of Speyer. So, the location is great and there are many things to do.

Overnight stay travelling northbound to ferry at Europoort

Breakfast was standard German fayre but will say it was very good. Location is ideal for travelling along a61 either north or southbound. it is a little out of the centre but it is walking distance providing its dry. also there is a Greek restaurant we've used on previous stays that is very good too that offers a range of meals not just Greek. Room was clean warm and well fitted. Found the staff very friendly and helpful.

Superb

Everything was very clean. Good breakfast. Just next to the Sprayer museum. There is a coffee machine in the room though it took some time to figure out how to get hot water for tea.

We booked 3-bed room. It was quite small. The bathroom had matted glass door which was more see through then we wanted, that made our stay less comfortable.

Functional hotel with excellent breakfast

Room was a little soulless, only functional. Car parking was good, secured by barrier. Breakfast was excellent, very varied and plentiful. Staff were very helpful, giving directions and map of town.

The Technick Museum is fantastic and with the hotel next to the museum a good setup.

The hotel is located at the Technick museum which was our main destination for this journey. The breakfast was of good qualtiy and the facility was clean. The parking area was directly in front of the hotel and easy accessible.

The hotel did not have an elevator and especially for elderly people reaching the room was not comfortable. The bathroom is rather small compared to the rest of the room that was spacious.

Close to Museum and big parking

Price advertised on booking.com was 211 Euro but on arrival I was charged 290Euro for 2 nights. There are better Hotels in town for that price. Rooms are tiny and there is no Restaurant for dinner or lunch.No tea cattle either just for filter coffee
