Excellent stay at a low cost

Got a free upgrade and the room was perfect. Very clean , excellent shower, great room. Within a 10 walk to town and next to a supermarket that sells breakfast, lunch and dinner.

our room (family room for 4 persons) were 1st floor and directly on the busy street without air conditioner nor fan, which was nightmare in summer night. We couldn't sleep early with noise from street (when open windows) or heat (when close windows).

I loved the fact the room had a Tassimo coffee machine! It's a 10 minute walk to the town centre with lots of bars and restaurants. 25 minute walk to the Technik Museum.

Good and comfortable stay close to city center

This is very fresh and modern facility. Our soundproof room was equipped with mini kitchen including kitchen items - plates, forks, knives, glases etc. Fridge in good size. Very comfy bed! We got really soundproof room, didn't heard anything. Flawless cleaned bathroom with smart features. It was surprising in very good way!

Tolle Lage direkt am Bahnhof, dennoch super ruhig. Da ich mein Gepäck noch am Abreisetag im Hotel unterstellen wollte wurde mir alternativ angeboten, das Zimmer kostenfrei noch länger zu behalten! Wirklich außergewöhnlich!

Sehr zentral und sehr gepflegt.

Lage direkt am Bahnhof und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Perfekt. Das Frühstück war Bio-Qualität und sehr lecker. Das Zimmer hatte eine kleine Kochnische, die ich zwar nicht genutzt habe, aber es ist mir positiv aufgefallen. Einen Kaffee hätte ich mir schnell zubereiten können. Einchecken über den Automaten war praktisch. Das Personal rief sogar noch zweimalig an, um sich zu vergewissern, dass ich den Code erhalten hatte.

Der Eincheckautomat: der Kasten, in den die Karte fällt, ist zu groß, um problemlos die Karte rauszufischen. Ich musste lange suchen und die Hand tief in den Schlitz stecken, bevor ich sie entdeckte. Dachte schon, sie wäre nicht rausgefallen und wäre beinahe verärgert umgekehrt.

Eine wunderbare, sehr gepflegte Übernachtungsmöglichkeit mit äusserst freundlichem Personal

Der Name GuestHouse weckt im Vorfeld keine grossen Erwartungen. Ich benötigte lediglich eine gut gelegene Unterkunft für die Stadterkundung. Vor Ort traf ich an der Reception auf eine sehr aufgestellte Dame, die mir den Zimmerschlüssel überreichte und gleich noch einige Tipps zum Entdecken der Stadt Speyer auf den Weg gab. Das Zimmer war sauber und für mich zur Alleinbenutzung sehr geräumig. Das Frühstücksbuffet verfügte über eine grosse Auswahl fast ausschliesslich regionaler Produkte, die auch in grosser Zahl mit dem Prädikat 'bio' ausgezeichnet waren. Am Abreisetag wurde mir - aufgrund der Zimmerbelegung - das Zimmer um einige Stunden verlängert, damit ich mein Gepäck sicher deponieren konnte. Danke schön und gerne wieder!

Trotz kleiner Einschränkungen kann ich das GuestHouse empfehlen, vor allem für längere Aufenthalte.

Das Frühstück war soweit ok. Allerdings war die Auswahl an Müslis überschaubar. Und die Backwaren waren eher durchschnittlich. Am Rest gibt es nichts auszusetzen.

Die komplette Ausstattung des Hotels ist sehr nüchtern gehalten. Aber das ist wohl das Konzept. Teilweise wirkte die Atmosphäre daher etwas "kühl". Muss man mögen.

GuestHouse Speyer - eine erwärmende Erfahrung

Gebucht hatte ich ein Einzelzimmer, es erwies sich als Einraumwohnung mit Küchenzeile und Bad, geräumig, hell, sauber und gästefreundlich gestaltet. Diverse Getränke, Kaffee- und Teezubehör waren schon da, man konnte gleich mit dem Wohnen beginnen. Wo man einen Haken für ein schnelles Aufhängen der Jacke brauchte, da war auch einer. Sinnvoll angebrachte Lichtschalter und Steckdosen - hier wurde nicht an Kleinigkeiten gspart. Die top gestaltete Fernsehwand mit indirekter Beleuchtung lud regelrecht zum Einschalten ein. Im Untergeschoss befanden sich Waschmaschine und Trockner zur Nutzung für die Gäste. Zum Zwecke des bequemen und ordentlichen Aufhängens der Wäsche hätte man sogar die Kleiderbügel hierhin mitnehmen können, denn sie waren nicht in engen Schränken angetackert, angeschraubt, angebunden - wie schön, wie zuhause!

Alles war perfekt: ein modernes, stilvolles Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal.

Wir wollten den Hockenheimring besuchen. Leider standen während unserer Reisezeit nur wenige Taxis zur Verfügung, und auch Uber war lediglich für die Rückfahrt nutzbar.
