Ok but nothing special - at all.

Check in was easy. Florence was lovely.

The bed was OK if you like sleeping in a hollow. I'm guessing many an overweight person slept in room 122. Don't get me wrong, the sheets and the room were clean but the mattress was like a cradle - no chance of falling out because you'd have to 'roll' uphill. The shower door didn't close properly. So the shower mat was a sodden mess when I stepped out. And breakfast..? It was OK but expensive.. I've tasted much, much better. And as for the scrambled eggs (aka wall filler), they looked dry, flakey and so unappetising that even the mama hen would cry at such an atrocity!

For some reason the restaurant was closed despite quite a few guests staying which meant we had to venture out into the town in search of an evening meal.

Very nice hotel!

Close to the highway so easy to access by car. Plenty of free parking around. 20 minute walk up to the castle. Comfy, clean, airco worked very well and we had a balcony with a view onto the castle. Staff were friendly.

Pleasant Stay in Forbach

Fresh paint, very homey-comfy atmosphere. Staff was very friendly after initial check-in

Initial check-in not smooth at all. Technical glitches apparently, but the poor desk clerk was trying to get things operating, but didn't tell the waiting guests what was going on. We understand unforeseen problems, but appreciate being informed rather than ignored while trying to resolve the issue.

takes dogs and is convenient as a stop off on way to uK from Germany

the car park next to the hotel has cars in the middle of the night which wake you up playing very loud music the rooms are ok but coffee stains on the wall in one room indicate they could do with a general spring clean and freshening up also the hallways stank a little unpleasant in the past it wasn’t so do not park under the trees at the front of the building as the birds stay there overnight and will leave their marks everywhere

I will not stay in the hotel nor I would recommend it

the only good thing was a comfortable mattress everything else poor especially the breakfast can only use a small plate which was on the table no other plates available to use after I had used hot food also just 1 cup of coffee because you have to use a drink dispenser with no instructions how to use it and have to ask the staff only 1 waitress which she is busy clearing the tables also limited choice of breakfast unless you like hard bread which you have to cut -sliced bread for toast felt staled

poor breakfast as explained above also the fact that I could not find the hotel because of uncleared directions and I tried to phoned 4 times between 21.15 and 21.30 but nobody answered the phone only a recorded message the rooms and bathrooms needs updating both the decor and furniture

Sad as there appears to a parking problem as the Hotel which is in a nice quiet location.

Very small secure Parking at the Hotel. Had to use the unsecure Municpal Public Parking Area next door. Left the Hotel at 04.00 as the Public parking area is unsecured if you have a nice Car. Public Car Park appears to be used by possible Drug Dealers

Ontbijt was oke, alleen geen vorken en extra servetje moesten we van een andere tafel halen.

Geen dinner mogelijk voor ons in het restaurant, , was lastig omdat ze een groot gezelschap te gast hadden. Kamer was niet heel schoon, plafond badkamer en wc vies. Föhn gelukkig niet hoeven te gebruiken maar was met stof en viezigheid aangekoekte.

Das Zimmer war von nicht erwarteter Klasse: groß, ausgestattet mit breitem, sehr komfortablem Bett, Toilette/Bad getrennt, Bad dazu von guter Größe. Zudem liegt das Hotel günstig zu den Verkehrswegen und dennoch ruhig. Parkplatz direkt vorm Haus. Viel bequemer geht es eigentlich nicht.

Eigentllich war alles ok. Ein wenig kritisch vielleicht nur eines: Das Frühstücksbuffet. Es war gut bestückt, aber ziemlich unübersichtlich angeordnet. Zudem war alles außer einfachem Kaffee (der stand bereit) nur unter Nutzung etwas komplizierter Gerätschaften (und daher nur mit Assistenz) zu bekommen.

Geräumiges Familienzimmer modern eingerichtet

Geräumiges Familienzimmer mit einem sehr bequemen Doppelbett sowie 2 Einzelbetten. Das Zimmer ist klimatisiert.

Tote Motten/Fliegen auf dem Fensterbrett, Wasser im Handwaschbecken läuft nur ganz langsam ab, schade, dass das Zimmermädchen das Problem nicht weitermeldet. Die Matratze hat einen hoffentlich nur großen Kaffeefleck.
