This is a superior 4 star hotel just outside the city centre, 10 minutes by taxi and €17 from the main station and 10 minutes by bus 30 and €2.90. I received a very nice welcome by Mr Nikolov at reception. My room overlooked the German French garden and pond and was very comfortable even if it was a tight squeeze in the shower and there was only shower gel and no shampoo. The restaurant was very nice even if it wouldn't get a Michelin star. I felt comfortable there and would return.

This is an older style hotel, which could do with some refurbishment in some areas. The room was of good size and equipped well. The spa offers a steam, and two sauna rooms (differing degrees), but one was not working, and a resting area. You can take a nice walk outside the hotel around the park and lake, which offers a playground as well. The proximity of the indoor waterside park is handy. You would need to take public transport or your car to get to the city [10-15 min]. Parking is free at the hotel in its dedicated parking area or at charge inside. Downside, the hotel seems to be understaffed, when I requested towels from reception I had to go to pick it up as the lady could not leave her station. Do skip the restaurant if you are looking for a good dinner (quality poor, service isn't good, and overpriced).

The hotel is situated further out of the city adjacent to a large park. Pros: - calm, nature environment - junior suite is sizeable - amenities provided are of decent quality - tidy and clean - sauna area clean tidy and well kept Cons: - dated decor in the lobby - not enough staff, i had to go down and pick up extra towels from reception because she was alone and could not leave her post - avoid the restaurant: quality very poor, price high, service poor
