Great hotel and place to stop enroute to and from Calais/Tunnel.

comfortable rooms and good location in rambouillet

the staff was not so graceful when we realized after 30 min of making the reservation we had made a mistake and they refused to waive the cancellation fee. The bathroom had a big hole in the roof and there are practically zero amenities in the room… no shampoo or body lotion, which i would expect for this price point

Overpriced

Good size room. Good location (town is small so doesn’t matter too much). The staff member who checked me in was v helpful and kind.

Shower kept falling off the wall, staff v loud in the morning. Overpriced for what you get - quite a basic hotel. Staff not v helpful when asked. Reception desk often empty.

Staff great, systems wrong|

Generally a very good stay with the staff being very good. Possibly returning same time in 2026.

We were booked in on half board and paid up front on arrival. Saturday night we were told we could only have snack menu for evening meal due to no chef and large coach party. How or who cooked their meals???????? We were also told this would be the came for Sunday. Credit to staff, they pulled out the stops for Sunday evening meal.

Disappointing. Bad experience.

The location is very good and the parking was convenient. Great outside terrace for drinks and food.

We were very disappointed. We had to change rooms because of a problem with the air con (very noisy impossible to sleep) this was done efficiently. We then found (in our replacement room) that the shower (over the bath) was almost impossible to use. The fitting was loose as were the taps. Infact we were not sure it was a shower at all and perhaps not to be used as water went everywhere. Dinner was underwhelming - the lamb was inedible but no apology or recompense and the wine was grossly overpriced. We had put food and drinks onto our room in order to settle our bill on departure the next day, however at 10.20pm of that evening - we were in bed asleep - our in-room telephone rang and a very rude and aggressive women demanded we paid our bill immediately she told us to come to reception and settle our bill for drinks we’d had. We explained that we were in bed but she said she didn’t care and we must pay our bill. We gave her our credit card details and decided to take the matter up with management in the morning - which we did but whether lost in translation we did not get an apology or a refund for the inedible food neither it appeared was the credit card processed so payment for the drinks was still due. We did not enjoy our stay at this hotel and would never consider going back.

Lovely location right by the castle, Saturday Market and walking distance to lots of restaurants. Large rooms with comfy bed.

Nothing major, just little bits like slight mould growing in bathroom, bad paint jobs, broken shower slider so it wouldn't stay up. Didn't affect our stay.

Excellent family-friendly hotel for visiting the chateau de Rambouillet

It's a family-friendly hotel close to the chateau. Breakfast was quite good. They had a wide selection.

If you are looking to have drinks or coffee in the late afternoon you may have to wait a bit as it can get quite busy. This is not a big deal - just need to manage expectations.

Pleasant stay, the front courtyard/terrace was the best selling point.

The hotel was very clean and had a lovely front terrace where you could order food or drink.
