A lovely location opposite a formal park, and excellent breakfast.
Service was sadly missing. When we asked to eat dinner we were told that they could only provide a reduced menu, about 3 items. We waited ages for any attention - as did the few other tables around us. I chose the gaspacho, which turned out to be cold carrot soup with some tomato juice and extras added. To their credit the waiters realised how angry we were and waived the total bill.

Great, central location near the chateau and the Main Street. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. Safe storage for our bicycles. Reception staff were excellent. The room was reasonably spacious, the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. We liked that there was a bath. Good toiletries and linen.
A few things to sort out especially as the Hotel strives to be a 4* establishment.
Room 003…..the window curtain was hanging off the rail at one end……the bedside table was broken…..the sockets were all in awkward places…….some cracks in the walls and peeling paint.

Nicely specced comfy rooms,good if pricey breakfast
Aircon broken, tv broken, no warm water for showers in the.morning only cold, report issue several times and ignored, only one lady member of staff helpful, same issues with the.tw other rooms my freinds booked
