Lovely hotel..everything looks great and dinner was lovely.The only problem is the shower in the room..its in a bath and one you hold,totally ridiculous ,water gets everywhere and climbing in and out of the shower is lethal

Very nice hotel, just steps from the beautiful Chateau de Maintenon. The room was large, clean, and comfortable, with nice large windows. I had dinner and breakfast, and the food was very good. Highly recommended.

We booked this hotel as it had EV chargers on arrival we were informed that the chargers had all be removed and when I asked if I could connect to an electrical socket in the underground car park I was categorically told no and that there were NO EV charging facility in this hotel. When we ask to book the restaurant we were told that no food was served on Mondays. BTW there were no local restaurant opened either. All together a terrible experience.

Super hotel. But no restaurant. On the monday, no where was open for evening meal. We had to drive to Chartres. Disappointed that the hotel didn't have a restaurant.

Do not do business with this property. I was reserving three rooms for my traveling group however by the time I went to reserve the third room it was no longer available. I immediately called the hotel to ask if it was Ok to cancel and get a refund (non-refundable) since they could not accommodate. The man I spoke with said yes but I have to call Expedia so they can process the refund. After weeks of back and forth they eventually denied my refund. They also repeatedly pretended they couldn't speak English whenever I called. I even had my manager who is French call them. I was lied to so I do not recommend doing business with them. This kind of behavior alludes to desperate business practices so there is no telling what they might do in other circumstances. Absolutely unacceptable, rude, and not a place I will ever book again.

The staff at Castle Maintenon was second to none. Absolutely wonderful. The property is beautiful. The rooms are comfortable. The lighting in the bathroom leaves something to be desired (it was dim so hard to apply the makeup). I would stay here again.

Excellent hotel . Very good breakfast . The only peculiarity is that ( in our room anyway ) the toilet is totally separate from the rest of the bathroom , so that , after using the toilet , you must walk around the bedroom to wash your hands .

I stayed at Castel Maintenon on my way down to the Alps. It’s about a three hour drive from Dieppe and around six hours to Geneva.I used the spa and had my evening meal in the hotel. There was a good value menu de jour - no chioce but the food was good.The room was comfortable and spacious but the air conditioning couldn’t be turned off and there was also quite a lot of ‘plumbing’ noise next to my room during the night.

Good location and friendly staff. Let down a bit by lack of stand up shower in the room and somewhat unfinished pool area. Also we were not told we could not get food at the hotel as we had no dinner reservation and our only real option was to drive 20 mins to Chartres

This brand new hotel is amazing. Our room was a triple room and it was very spacious. The bathroom was fantastic too. The restaurant was very good and the breakfast was great. The landscaping is still to be finished off but did not affect our stay one bit. We did not use the pool but it looked lovely. We got tickets from reception to visit the castle next door which has a lovely garden and walkway along the river.
