Would stay again but if you plan on having a meal in restaurant pre book as it can get busy, tried to book but no seats
Very central, clean, friendly staff, quiet rooms.
Lack of plug sockets in room, Kettle lead did not reach nearest plug socket had to use table lamp socket by bed.

Great location, great staff, great food, comfort could have been better.
Very close to the cathedral and centre. Restaurant was busy, both dinner and breakfast were great. Plenty of staff and all friendly, all seemed to know and understand what was happening regarding rooms, parking, food etc. Everything was clean and presentable and decent toiletries and tea/coffee (kettle & coffee machine), plus bottles of water provided.
Checking in, in the middle of a really busy restaurant isn’t ideal - could do with an area designated specifically for this. Really uneven stairs and floors - I appreciate it’s a very old building, I felt uneasy. A door was persistently banged, accidental or not during our stay. Woken early by bins being taken out and bin lorry coming - we weren’t warned about this. Bed could have been better and firmer pillows. Lock on room door isn’t great.

Lovely accommodation, with bags of ‘olde worlde’ charm and friendly, helpful staff.
Great location and authentic Tudor charm.
A minor quibble, but the menu in our room differed from the one in the restaurant, which was a little disappointing when we were looking forward to a particular starter that wasn’t actually available!

Cute and characterful
Cute bedrooms, full of character and looking freshly decorated. Impressed at thoughtful touches like the Nespresso coffee machine and magazines - amazing value for the price we paid, including a great breakfast. We also had a blow out steak dinner in the restaurant which was fab.
A security light outside our window stayed on all night, which bugged me.
