good day to everyone. I want to share my impressions of my stay at the Park Inn Radisson Antwerp City Centr hotel. There are only two advantages: the location (one minute from the train station) and a great breakfast (which was at the nearby Park Blue Hotel).
The Park Inn is a very old hotel and the impression of it is very unpleasant. The room is very small, the furniture is all very old and worn; the walls, which were once white, are now yellow and very dirty (you can see that no one washes them); the curtains on the windows are dark gray from dirt and dust, but they were once white; the bathroom has very poor lighting (it is impossible to make up or shave), the tiles on the walls and floor are very old and cracked, and there is mold in the corners.... I don't think it costs a hundred euros per day for one person!

The location is great
The check in is in a different building

Didn't try the pool, but is on the todo for next time.

Friendly staff that radiate professionalism, ready to accommodate and facilitate guests à la Radison fashion. Rooms are tidy and you would never spot a hair on your bed etc when staying with Radison.
The park-in is obviously the middle child that isn’t loved enough. The Radison blue Astrid gets the most praise and attention, with a a similar price tag. Having to change buildings to breakfast is a bit annoying but it’s probably more of a mental thing.
However, putting a little reception at the entrance of this building would make me feel a bit better and looked after.

Great location and nice room.
Slightly inconvenient checking in across the road (not a big deal).

*The Good:*
- *Convenient Location*: The hotel is just 100m from the station, making it super easy to get around.
- *Flexible Luggage Storage*: They let us store our luggage for a couple of hours after checkout without any extra charge, which was a huge relief.
*The Not-So-Good:*
- *Noise Issues*: We had a long train ride and desperately needed a nap, but the constant noise from the cleaning staff outside our room (and the next room) made it impossible to relax.
- *No Water Provided*: We were surprised to find no water in our room when we checked in. When we asked for some, we were told it was reserved for VIPs. A 1.5L bottle from the supermarket cost just 89 cents, so it felt like a strange perk.
- *Nighttime Noise*: There was a persistent knocking sound at night that we couldn't quite figure out (maybe an electrical issue?).
- *External Noise*: Given its central location, the hotel can't be held responsible, but the loud music from nearby areas lasted till 1am on weekends, which was a bit of a disturbance.

Perfect location to explore the city
Small check in desk at the reception entrance would save the hassle of commuting between two buildings for check in or any issue with the room card

Central location, comfortable room and good breakfast
I had a disappointing check-in experience at Park Inn by Radisson. There was no direct access to the hotel, and I was told to go to the nearby Radisson hotel to collect the key. The lift to Radisson wasn’t working, so I had to carry my bags up the stairs. After getting the key, I had to go back to Park Inn again with all my luggage. If this had been clearly mentioned at the time of booking, I could have gone directly to Radisson to collect the key and avoided dragging my bags back and forth. Very inconvenient and poorly managed process.

The security of the front door was good, you can’t get in or out without a key card and have to wait for one door to close before it would let you open the other.
We upgraded our room to a “superior with a view” we were very disappointed. The room was very small only enough room to walk around the bed, and the view was very disappointing there was 3 slim windows set back within a square wall frame so when you looked out all you could see was straight across, there was chance to see a very pretty ferris wheel and other buildings but could see any of that, I would of rather not spent the extra upgrade money and went outside to see it. When looking in other rooms they were bigger but just had a window facing the back? The pillows were terrible we had to go and ask for 4 more as they were that soft you sink through and were still lying on the hard bed. It’s such a shame because the place was lovely. The bathroom was big and spacious but the tiles on the floor were marked and the shower tray was dirty

The safe well known brand. If you need a train station location - a prefect choice.
Good for its money, not so good for the standards of Radisson in general. The common parts are pretty worn out. Not dirty, but you notice it’s not taken good care of.
5.0 / 10.0
The location was very central, close to the station and main attractions, making it easy to get around. The price was also reasonable compared to other hotels nearby.
The room was small and not clean: the bathroom floor was dirty, the walls were stained, and even a spider in the bathroom. I requested twin beds but was given a double instead. The hotel has no reception of its own, and checking in at another Radisson around the corner was inconvenient and misleading.

Great location. Comfortable & clean room.
7.0 / 10.0
The location was great for the train station, the room was clean and functional. The room had a large bed, the shower was good. The windows had good soundproofing as when we opened these the square outside was very loud.
The check in process really impacted our view of the hotel. A few days before the stay we received messages to say you have to check in at the Radisson Blu further up the square. We did this and waited 35-40 minutes to check in. The process was slow and frustrating, having since seen many other reviews stating the same issue - it is increasingly frustrating that they don’t seem to be addressing the issue.
To get into the park inn there is a 2 door system which is very sensitive and can take a few attempts to get through - this is for security reasons as they don’t have any staff based in the hotel.
Another issue was that one of the two lifts was not working, which again seems to be an ongoing issue. This meant that at times we had to wait longer than reasonable for a lift, we used the stairs where we could but had to account for additional time for the lifts when we departed with our bags, knowing that this could take awhile.

Great location.
The entry mechanism was cumbersome, having to wait for the first door to close before the second could open. Especially when the weather was so hot and we wanted to get in asap.
6.0 / 10.0
Good size quiet room.
No staff on site. Check-in, food and bar in local Radison Blu. Park Inn now has an unloved feel now that the entry area had been partitioned off from the original reception area

The room was very comfortable located in a nice area and very close to the train station. The breakfast was fantastic and it was super to be able to use the gym facilities.
I was a bit confused at check-in as you need to check-in at a different location which makes it more inconvenient traveling with baggage back and forth.

I liked the hotel, location and staff.
Clean,comfortable.
You have to check in across the road at Radisson Blu, but that's no problem. My room overlooked the square, so it could be a bit noisy, but it didn't bother me. I was on the 3rd floor and enjoyed the view.
It can be quite lively at 1am, but great atmosphere. Everyone seems happy in Antwerp.
:)
Blackout curtains were great.
Window that opened slightly for fresh air.
Air conditioning.
Shower hot with good pressure.
Basics provided.
Toiletries.
Tea/coffee.
Very close to train/bus/subway.
( 2min/5 mins walk)
Convenient to walk to shops.
Elevator.
Small room safe.
Good value.
It's not ' manned' as such, but staff are at Radisson Blu if anything was needed.
Not an issue.

Location is ok
No view. Check-in separately. Breakfast separately. Room had a water leakage and the floor was deformed.
6.0 / 10.0
It is close to the train station and lots of bars and restaurants nearby.
The bed was big and comfortable.
Kettle in room.
I didn't like having to walk further to a different hotel to check in, and find there wasn't disabled access there to get inside (lift not working).
I didn't like that there was no staff around in our hotel, no security or reception. I needed some milk for the drinks in the room, and I called reception from the room phone but nobody answered. I didn't want to go outside and up the street in the rain to get to the reception desk staff.
I didn't like that the room was shabby with ripped net curtains and shoddy tiling in the bathroom.
The room was OK and it was cheap, but it wasn't what I expected from radisson, or from a room that was apparently a free upgrade and a superior room!

Located near train station, close to the city center.
Room was equiped with everything for short stay. It was quiet during the night.
Breakfast was around 29 euros.
City side opposite to the city center, hotel relatively, was quite dissapointing

The hotel’s location is very good.
The check-in time is 3:00 PM, and they don’t provide any assistance before that time. There are also very long lines at 3:00 PM. It took us 40 minutes to check in. Additionally, we requested slippers for the room, but they arrived hours later. This was a negative experience for us.
6.0 / 10.0
Proximity to the train station.
Check-in at Radisson Blu took forever, a long line was managed by two fairly rude receptionists. The person who did my check-in couldn’t even manage a “welcome” or “enjoy your stay” or even a “bye”. The other one who checked-in another customer lifted her shoulders and had a vacant look when asked where they could have dinner since the on-site restaurant was closed. I guess it requires some intensive customer training to mention a few restaurant names/have a printout of options or say “right outside the hotel is a wide variety of restaurants ranging from fastfood to high end dining”.

Having to check in at Radisson Blu on other side of the square.

Very clean. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Great shower and bathtub, big room, big bathroom. Nice big windows with view to central station. Easy access, everything worked fine. Really good value for money. Deserves 4 stars, it's fantastic, if you can get over having no slippers or vanity kit (probably the only things missing compared to a 5 stars hotel I stayed in recently). Had a good size minifridge, coffee, tea, iron, safe, tv, more than what I needed.
One of the 2 lifts did not work, but waiting time was very short, hotel did not seem too busy.

Nice hotel, nice location, friendly employees, tasty breakfast.
One of the elevators was damaged, out of order. During morning rush hours only one elevator was not good enough.
10.0 / 10.0
Staff very friendly and professional especially a young lady with North African look who checked us in and out at the reception of Radisson Blu. She provided a stunning welcome and a genuine goodbye. This positive attitude should be taken into consideration when dealing with guests. Good location with central station across the street and city centre just 15 mins away. Nice lobby and bar area furnished with comfortable sofas and modern tables. Beautiful view of Antwerp station from breakfast room located on the second floor and free access to sauna/swimming pool available at the Radisson blu Antwerp city centre. Pity that we found it out the day after our arrival. Large bedrooms furnished with double beds, hard and soft pillows, hard mattresses ideal for a good sleep, spacious wardrobes and useful desks.
I would suggest to improve the breakfast offer by introducing Belgian patisserie (something typical), fresh juices instead of concentrate ones and a wider variety of croissants/cheese (offer was limited). Staff was very helpful but should have focused more on replacing items in a busy day.
9.0 / 10.0
Super convenient location next to Antwerp Central station. The ‘living room’ at lobby is convenient to have our snacks and people watch. The reception staff Sundha made our day by going the extra mile. :)
Check in must be done at Radisson Blu hotel opposite the road. All facilities are there too
7.0 / 10.0
Great location. Functional room
Check in and out at a different hotel. The breakfast and the gym are also not at the hotel and you have to take a 5 minute walk each time. Not the end of the world but completely unnecessary and annoying

Central.
Very noisy- single glazed windows onto Astridplein.
Tv didn't work.
Torn curtain.
Strange non-functioning air-conditioning.
One of the lifts didn't work.
Looked a bit shabby overall.

Walls are not walls. Is paper. You can hear people snoring in the other room. Cleaning is terrible.

Location is at a central location, close to everything.
Very noisy room. Cleanliness could have been better. Although a bathtub is listed as an amenity, the plug was missing, so it was useless.
8.0 / 10.0
The room was clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable, I had a nice sleep. The location was just what I wanted. Staffs were very friendly and polite.
I found it difficult to press the shower gel pump, it was a bit stiff. I think it needs to be changed.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service we received during our recent stay at your hotel. We encountered a significant issue with the air conditioning system in our room, which caused considerable discomfort and inconvenience.
Upon arrival, the air conditioning in our room stopped working and water began dripping from the ceiling. We promptly reported this issue to the reception, expecting a swift resolution. However, despite assurances that the maintenance team would be called to address the problem, only housekeeping was sent to mop the floor and place towels. This response was inadequate and did not address the underlying issue.
Given the severity of the problem, we anticipated being relocated to another room. Instead, we had to leave for an appointment with the room still unbearably hot. Upon our return, the issue remained unresolved. The reception staff were unable to provide a satisfactory solution or even update us on the status of the repair.
This level of service is unacceptable, particularly for a hotel in the heart of the city. The lack of a timely and effective response significantly impacted our stay. I am also concerned that the issue may not have been properly fixed before the next guest’s arrival.
I trust you will take this matter seriously and implement measures to prevent such occurrences in the future. I look forward to your prompt response and a satisfactory resolution to this complaint.
Sincerely,

Nice staff. Great location. Comfy modern room which was still quiet despite location
My air conditioning didn’t work the whole entire time.
It had no power. It was quite hot one day. It would have been horrible during summer

Few minutes from a train station and Meir shopping street. In a walking distance to sightseeing places. Lots of restaurants and cafes around.
A bottle of water in the room upon check in would be great!

For Tomorrowland it was a good location. Few minutes walk from the train. It’s clean and does the job.
