It is our second time here and enjoyed our stay. The room is clean and comfortable beds. The receptionist and the cleaners are friendly . We had questions and requests thru online portal and the response is so quick. The location is good . Near the train station. Food shops nearby just a little walk. It is highly recommended.

The Novotel has a lot going for it. The location is excellent and the lobby makes a genuinely good first impression — it sets a welcoming tone from the moment you arrive. A special mention goes to the family-friendly policy: children travelling with parents stay for free, which is a meaningful perk that many families will appreciate.
That said, there is one area where I feel the hotel has real room to grow: staff communication and professionalism.
A great guest experience is built not just on amenities, but on how the team carries itself. On a couple of occasions, when small mistakes occurred — a wrong coffee price, a missing charge on a bill — I witnessed a senior staff member handle it in a blaming tone, both toward a junior colleague and in how it was conveyed to us as guests. Mistakes happen; what matters is how a team solves them.
The foundation here is solid. A little more investment in team culture would go a long way toward making this hotel truly great.

The lobby and the staff
The carpets in the corridors smelled badly, there were spots on the doors, on elevator windows and doors, overall was not that clean, there was no tea and salmon for the breakfast (we had in Radisson Blue Brugge that was 4 star hotel as well)
