It suited for where we wanted to be but would not recommend.

Locaton. Ate out, places nearby which were good. Didn't eat in hotel so cannot comment on food.

Name of hotel obscured, access to hotel unclear, parking unclear and very expensive. One seat in room for 2. Unable to sit up on bed due to sloping ceiling. Bathroom constructed for tall person, sink and toilet high. Shower good but water splash not contained. Loud droning noise all night external to room from some type of generator, ventilator or motor, not sure of source . On arrival all reception staff eating a meal, tap to book in didn't work, had to summon them for help.

The breakfast was excellent and always spot on. Secondly was the very cordial nature of the staff at the front desk desk. To say the least, they made my stay at The Hague memorable

Well located quaint hotel with good amenities

The hotel looks like it was converted from a typical Dutch style home which gives it quite an appeal. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with a small park and pond across the road. The tram to downtown, the central train station or to the beach is a short 5-10 minute walk away and the tram passes often. The breakfast was hearty, plentiful and tasty. The staff was accommodating in keeping my luggage between check-in and after check-out. My room was fairly large by European standards and my bed comfortable.

It would have been helpful to have a mini- fridge but I did not ask for it. While my bed was comfortable, it was quite high off the ground.

An Ideal Place to see the Hague

The first room we were given was on the 3rd floor, lift only goes to the 2nd and my wife has dificulty with stairs. It was also a little small due to the slanted roof. When I asked if we could change the room the staff immediately offered me a room on the ground floor which was also a little bigger. This is our second time in this hotel. It is well located and reasonably priced in what is a very expensive city.

The bathroom was small, the toilet was very close to the wall, so not very comfy. The pillows aere very small, about the size of your head!

If you could have opened the windows, it would have been absolutely fine.

Facilities were good and the room was a nice size with big windows so it was very light.

Unfortunately you could not open the windows and there was no air conditioning. It was extremely hot and we only had one medium fan so it was quite uncomfortable especially at night.

The location was great but would not recommend to family and friends due to rooms being too small.

The location was perfect to be able to get around easily. Good restaurants within walking distance.

The rooms were so compact that there was no room to open our suitcases. We had to put our suitcases on the bed to be able to access anything. The breakfast was passable but nothing to write home about!

Good base needs tweaks

I liked the transport links, and how easy it was to navigate around the area. The bed was comfortable. The coffee machine worked even when my friend fd up staff gave her a coffee

Not many stores around the area. The compact room was literally that there was no space for two adult friends as with one rucksack the room felt full. If staying longer it would have been claustrophobic. The bed was comfortable but the room even with the fan on was far too warm. As for power points some where moveable which I'm not sure was too safe. The lights around the bed never worked so it was the main light or bathroom light. The phone to call reception was an ornament had to use my own phone to call reception informed staff on the call and nothing was done about it. The mirrors or lack thereof in suitable places in the room and as an ex housekeeper not everywhere was wiped down. It was a different experience to the one in Risjwijk. Raspberry group take a raspberry... Congealed sweets in a jar not hygenically wrapped nor replenished during our stay.

Fascinating country and city

Great location. Very helpful staff, allowed us access to our room 3 hours before the formal arrival time. Very helpful on a wet day! Breakfast nice if a little expensive. Perhaps we should have been hungrier! It was good to have the hire bikes so easily available and maps of the city. Thank you!

We liked the room and the beds there. It was big enough for three people and very peaceful.

The room was too expensive -maybe because of the tulip season. The whole city was almost fully booked. The location was a bit far from the city center. Although we knew that when we made a reservation.

Would highly recommend!

I loved the exterior of the hotel, the location in a very peaceful neighborhood and the room - it had high ceilings and a large beatiful window. I also loved the table + the view from the room was gorgeous - I had a chance to see what it was like to live in a classic house like that, even if it was just for 2 days/nights. The breakfast was also good!

it is clean and organized

I did a reservation for 4 rooms, 2 of them had air conditioning and 2 no. I was not aware of that and it was too hot! also the 2 rooms the king size bed it was not a king size, so quite disappointed.

Nice and peaceful stay with a comfortable bed. Good sleep all round.

Very quiet, which is what we wanted. Comfortable bed. Friendly helpful staff. Nice shower. Near International zone and convenient tram to the city centre.

Suggest heavier curtains for the very cold nights. the heating was good, but there was sometimes a draught under the curtains
