Check in is difficult when the second guest arrives at check-in before the guest who's made the booking. This could mean a wait of several hours to get access to the room for the unnamed guest.

The facilities are good.
The facilities were good, but if they ask you for deposit SAY NO. I paid a deposit as they asked me to, and I got it back in a month. (Yes, for one whole month my money was frozen and nobody did anything to help me). So, say NO to deposits or go stay somewhere else.

The bed was extremely comfortable and the view over the Hague city center was great (we were on the 8th floor).
Upon arrival at 15h the room was not ready yet, even though we were in a rush and we had requested an early check-in, we had to wait an additional 20 minutes and were offered a glass of Cava as compesation.
We had also requested additional instant coffee and we were told someone was going to bring it to our room. Unfortunately no one ever came.

Gym:
The gym was a highlight of my stay. It was clean, well-equipped, and had everything I needed for my morning workout. The bright, airy space with its beautiful beach view made exercising a real pleasure.
The first room I was given was unfortunately not up to standard, it showed signs of damage, cleaning products were peeling off surfaces, and I even found hairs in the bathtub. On top of that, there was loud drilling noise, which made it very difficult to work. However, a huge shout-out to Sheiba, who was incredibly kind and understanding. Thanks to her, I was moved to another room that was much more comfortable and free from the noise.
I only tried breakfast once, and I wasn’t very impressed. There were no natural juices available, the omelet I ordered was completely burned on top, and overall the presentation wasn’t very appealing. The options felt limited, especially when it came to healthy choices like fresh vegetables. The service could also be improved—plates were left on our table for over 30 minutes, and I missed the warmth and attention to detail I’d expect from a Marriott

Mold on the grout of the bathtub, a half-stocked dusty coffee area when I arrived, zero cleaning agent or towels in the fitness room after asking three times, zero signage to tell you how to exit the property to get to a main tram line … it’s really blocked except one path that should have signs.

Bar Restaurant was ok, nice drinks. Only a short walk to a heap of restaurants and shops which was handy
The couch in my room had a huge round stain on it (and the pillows too). I told staff and wasn't bothered by it but it was never changed or clean attempted which for a hotel of this rating was a big let down. Bar service was friendly but took ages to get food orders taken and my meals were given to the wrong table which meant i waited aaaaaages.

It is a good hotel, location and facilities wise. Good food selection and great staff at the breakfast buffet.
For a Marriott property, I am extremely disappointed by its customer service when it comes to (1) setting up the room according to our instructions before check in (baby cot, sofa bed were not yet set up prior to check in) and (2) invoicing - it took more than 1 week to get a proper invoice! This is a basic thing for any establishment and hotels provide invoices UPON CHECKOUT. I had to go back and forth with Booking.com and Marriott staff. Until now no invoice after more than a week of checking out. So disappointing. Definitely not Marriott level service.

Hotel parking can be used for free for up to 30 mins which is convenient.
Service level could be improved, e.g. i had requested at the time of booking an extra bed in the room, it was confirmed in written, and it was still not there at checkin. They arranged it within an hour of arrival.
Cleaning: the cleaning lady did not replace the toiletries at the sink (they had run out), she forgot a professional cleaning agent in the room, etc.
it’s minor stuff, and most big hotels have such service level problems.
Limited dining options inside the hotel and you need to drive to go to a restaurant outside.

The staff only speaks english, including the front office. None of the staff is helpful or friendly.
Having breakfast the next morning blew my mind:
- staff (including maintenance staff), just got coffee in the restaurant, making guests wait, even finishing all the cups
- a senoir staff member taking food from the buffet with her hands and then chewing it with an open mouth, while walking around
- refilling buffet cups (like nuts or grenola), in the front, straight from the wholesale packages
- foh staff gossiping and checking instagram etc on their phones.
If I did any of those in the hotels or restaurants I've worked at (at any level), i would be fired on the spot.

The location was great for us, as we went to Shen Yun at the World forum theater. The rooms were comfortable and the staff was nice. The breakfast was pretty good.

The reception personnel was correct and ensured a quick check-in and checkout, as well as information about public transportation. Room on the 8th floor had a nice view of the sea. Public transportation closeby.
Breakfast too expensive. Parking as well. In front of the building €26 per day.... that is expensive for a parking space without security or cover (like a parking garage)

Location is good and view from the hotel very nice. Family room was very spacious though doors between the sections would have been nice.
On the first day (Koningsdag - a major holiday in the Netherlands) we ordered lunch for our kids in the restaurant. It took forever to come and was clearly already old - 40 minutes for plain noodles that where cold and clearly days old. Staff though was oK with us not paying.

The hotel is conveniently located between the beach and the city center of The Hague. There is some public transport making both parts easily accessible.
The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was nicely furnished, clean and the beds were comfy. There was room in the bathroom to put your toiletries.
Replacing coffee and towels was a little random but nothing really that would impact your stay.

Food quality is good, clean room.
Website says there’s bathtub for Junior suite but it was not. Also there’s not much food choices in executive lounge, only one pasta and salad bar.
Gym has few equipments. There’s was unlucky event we had which we kicked out from room for a while due to technical error. Also shower was not enough hot.

The hair conditioner was empty, the body lotion was open and used, the floor was wet when I checked-in, the kettle was dirt, even thought I put the “do not disturb” sign, staff member knocked on the door to ask me when I will leave
