Lovely place near Amstelveens historic old town Centre.

Lovely place close to the “oude dorp”. Rooms are lovely, as is the staff. Plenty of food options (and a 100year old pub) at walking distance.

Parking is limited. If you get a spot, lovely… if you don’t. You’re out of luck. There isn’t anything else close by and street parking is nigh impossible.

Please fix your heating

Given this was a winter trip, the lack of sufficient heating was appalling and as a paying customer I think I deserved better. I spoke to the receptionist about this and she basically said the heating is controlled centrally and that there’s nothing she could do about it.

Very comfortable hotel in a quiet residential location.

Lovely hotel in a quiet location. Very comfortable, spacious room, comfortable bed. The continental breakfast was served by a friendly waitress and very good quality. There was no problem with a late check-in and the staff were very friendly.

Don't expect a restful night

Great breakfast and friendly staff. Good bathroom.

Quite noisy. The hotel seems to attract relatively many people who like to smoke, talk and phone just outside the front door until midnight. Room was tiny. Not even room to walk around the bed. Towels were very thin. Some even had holes in them.

Basic Hotel

Small local hotel near the centre of Amstelveen

Overall in need for a paint job in halls and in bedrooms. My bedroom on the top floor ( Frans Hals) smelled a bit musty and bedding did not feel fresh. Bathroom was basic with a shower curtain and the only ventilation was a window. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were extremely basic. Breakfast which was served at table was fine.

Nice boutique hotel, but needs renovation

Good location, nice design. Mattress was ok

It seems that the outside and parts of the ground floor have been recently renovated. The staircase and our room however did look a bit tired and even worn out. (See pictures). The blinds in our room where falling apart and could not be closed or opened properly. At arrival the bedside tables were very dusty. Breakfast was a bit strange. The hotel staff brings everything to your table - no buffet. You eat what the bring you. Bread was old (it was Sunday morning in their defense, but it could have been at least toasted or warmed in an oven). No cereals, no fresh fruits. The cappuccino had to be paid extra (3,25 EUR per cup). A bit nifty and not up to standard

Great place to stay

The place is very cute and has a cafe/ restaurant downstairs and a patio. The location is very convenient, 10 min to the bus stop and shopping center with a market one way, and cute walkable Street and Jan Museum the other way. I came for a concert, and the stadium is 30 min by bus, no transfers. Very convenient. You can enter the building with your room card after 22:00.

It was a lovely stay, but remember that parking is limited!

The apartment is clean and lovely. It’s nearby the airport, but I’m not sure how to get there since I was driving. Parking is limited, however, if you park on the street after 6pm, it’s for free till 9am the next day.

I found it strange that the rooms weren’t numbered but named. It was a bit of a challenge to find my room, haha! 😛

Great find, lovely quiet area with easy access to city or airport

Lovely property in a quiet area. Room had everything we needed and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental and nice. Hotel has a lunch menu which is outstanding, full of flavour and generous portions.

The stairs were a little challenging when. Carrying luggage otherwise all good.

People there are so welcome us to stay. Nice neighborhood and great access to the airport. The room is clean, and breakfast there is so nice.

The safe box is not available in the room. The top page of this property on Booking.com was showing in the icon, but actually there wasn’t .

Friendly staff who helped with room change due to stairs being too much for us and luggage and with room fan.

Terrible to take luggage up stairs especially if at 2th floor Parking poor and only 3 possible places so first in - can easily be blocked in when in a hurry to get out. No air conditioning making room on a hot day unbearable. Lucky we did not take our original room located basically in the roof.

Quiet, comfortable, relaxing stay

This is a really nice little hotel in a residential area, but with good bus connections into Amsterdam. It's tastefully decorated, parking is easy, and it looks out onto a small canal (which is rather pleasant). The breakfast was the usual Dutch affair, plenty of cold meats and cheeses, with more available if you want it.

All good, nothing to complain about at all.
