Perfect for a short stay
Perfect location for visiting family in Lancaster. Comfortable and relaxing stay. Friendly host no issues. We will be staying again.

Pleasant, peaceful and quiet.
Very spacious. Excellent kitchen facilities. Good location, very near to event venue. Very quiet at night.
Bed VERY creaky. Kept us both awake, when just turning over. Headboard slats dusty. Not ok when above the bed you're sleeping in. Cottage is a little tired. Towels provided were 'crispy'. Thank goodness we packed our own, emergency ones. Mirror at side of bed, needs to be bigger, as only place to dry hair.

Parsley Cottage - lovely stay
Peace and quiet. Beautiful location. The cottage was lovely. Very clean. The owners were really helpful. And only 9 minutes away from the City centre. Lovely walks with the dogs. Just what we wanted.
The signs were a little ambiguous on site. We had to call to find it. One of the bathroom doors didn't shut.

Fantastic home from home, never fails to disappoint.
I stayed last year and liked it so much I booked again this year, despite having a six hour trip to get there. it feels very much like home from home and is very comfortable and well appointed. I absolutely love the log burner and it pushes out a lot of heat for a relatively small piece of kit.
The towels are a hard but they’re probably done by a laundry and cleaned at a high temperature which is understandable but they are very hard.

Lovely setting with a great outlook to the rear with ponies in the paddocks. Great selection of games and dvds.
Minor improvements; plug in bathroom (upstairs) broken, no baking trays/sheets for cooking. Kitchen worktop full of crumbs when we arrived and upstairs bath needed a good rinse, pity as we checked in from 3pm to allow covid cleaning. B atteries to be replaced in both remote controls. Smelt of dogs in downstairs bedroom and cushions in lounge were tired/needed cleaning.

It is difficult to find the house. More and accurate instructions should be provided. Basic services that actually do not affect the cost should be included, i.e. shampoo and body soap (!!!), tea & coffee portion packs,...
