Scafell View Apartment, Wasdale, Lake District, Cumbria

I like everything about this stay from the contact to good enough equipment in the kitchen nice and cosy please in the middle of nowhere peace and quiet

Only one con for me is the mattress I wake up a bit in pain but I’m the pick sleeper

Great location. Lovely lounge.

Beds a bit firm and would have preferred cotton sheets.

Comfortably housed three for our time, clean and well presented, all the facilities needed

Minor issue with a loose toilet seat and having to open the shower door to adjust temp or to turn it off, leading to water on the bathroom floor

Location great for Wastwater and Scafell Pike, we stayed around this area the whole weekend and loved how quiet and serene it was. Plenty of walks, wild swimming, waterfalls, there's alpaca walking and of course just down the road scafell pike. Excellent kitchen and cooking facilities in the apartment so make sure you do a shop and take food and drinks - there are no supermarkets nearby just a few small shops that are limited and pricey. There are a few nice pubs in the area. The apartment is up some stairs and has a large car park with plenty of space. Apartment is well equipped and cosy. 2 good size bedrooms and a nice size living room. We loved the shower! especially after a day walking and swimming the bathroom is really good and there's a heated towel rail. It would of been a nice touch to have some shower gel in there though. Overall this apartment was a great stay and i would stay here again and recommend. Fell in love with the area.

The only negative was the heating settings were tricky to work and we could only get a couple of the radiators to come on, which was frustrating when we had come back wet etc from walks. Some detailed instructions would be good.
