Rooms were perfect and was everything we needed for our family. It worked out even better for us as our eldest who is 18 now has disabilities so the room on the third floor with a double and single meant we could ensure he was safe and our other 2 kids slept on the ground floor. Everything was spotless and the amenities in the house was great. We was only staying 1 night so was only looking for somewhere to sleep but we will definitely consider booking again for either a longer weekend or a week.
Not really a bad thing but the pub across the road (that served food) only takes cash and we found out later after then driving to a cash machine that they stop serving food at 7pm. We were literally minutes too late so ended up going to the Chinese that was recommended in the Guest Book. Turned out fine in the end as the meal was lovely. So just something to be aware of. It seems a couple of places are cash only as the Chinese Restaurant was also only accepting cash. Luckily we had some that time :-)

Great location just few steps from the beach, perfect for the stroll or longer walks. Its also great as a base if you want to visit Lakes and hike one of many wainwrights. Plenty to discover around.
The house itself is nice, has everything you might need either during long or short stay, very well equipped and beds are very comfortable. Communication with hosts was fantastic š

The bathrooms were modern and clean apart from the radiator in the downstairs bathroom which has started to rust.
The owner didn't get back to me when I left a message to enquire about the front patio door.
The front patio door had no key.
The gas hob would not stay lit on some of the rings.
The advertised PS3 didn't work.
