Brilliant stay, wouldn’t change anything.
Lovely location, close to beach and harbour walk. Property had everything you could need. Clean and tidy. Outside area with a couple of rattan seats and table.

Idyllic Coastal Retreat
This was the perfect getaway from the stress of a big city! Located right next to a small cove type beach as well as a massive beach with dunes it was great retreat for us and the dog to recharge our batteries. The weather was really hot and we expected it to be crowded but it wasn't, we really had lots of space to spread out and enjoy. It's really close to the cricket club and, despite not being cricket fans, the beer garden and club are open for all to enjoy, a nice way to pass an evening. It's also close to the Harbour Hotel and a small shop for all essentials. The property was well kept, nice and clean with an instruction manual on how things worked. There was a welcome bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival which I always think is a nice touch.
Some small, minor things. The wifi instructions say to use the same network and password but that's not correct. It took a couple of attempts to find the right network but it wasn't a major issue. Either the TV remote or TV itself is a bit erratic - one minute BBC1 is available to select and then it isn't! But we didn't go on holidays to watch TV so not an issue. And there was no instructions on where to leave the keys on leaving but there was a lock box to pick them up from so we just assumed we had to drop them back in there. Again, this wasn't an issue for us but worth knowing for other guests but the hotel stops serving food at 8pm and I think the fish & chip shop was 8.30. But there's loads of places to eat and serve food later in Millom which is only 1 mile away.

Great house in a great location
Great location and overall a decent property with everything required. Comfy beds, WiFi and easy check in.
Check in and check out times were not great and couches uncomfortable, bathroom needs updating/ better set out
