What a fantastic stay we had , caravan was lovely and warm when we arrived on a cold day , milk in fridge and tea and coffee to hand , it was immaculate , I was so impressed and cannot fault a thing

Great Brithday weekend

I loved the place it is so cozy and the attention received was wanderful I spent my birthday here with my friends and it was a wonderful experience that I really recommend 10/10 I understand why this place had so many good reviews to begin with. I normally don't write reviews but I just had to this time.

Cosy and welcoming

Caravan is one of the very best I have stayed in and I have stayed in a lot of them over the years. Everything you need is supplied and the caravan just feels cosy. Having Netflix was a massive plus we appreciated it. Rod the owner is superb and made sure we had everything. The milk and biscuits were such a lovely gesture. If we are in Millom again we would definitely stay here.

Very clean, 3 bedroom caravan with an en-suite. Lovely location, just by a lake and minutes from the sea. Ron, the host, was a star - when we arrived it was 25°C and the cleaner had accidentally put the heat on. It was absolutely boiling inside! We did our best to cool it down but it wasn’t happening, so I messaged Rod and within 10 minutes he’d arrived with a big fan. Superb service, meant a lot.

I know some people aren’t bothered by TVs and WiFi etc, but the lovely big telly was ruined by the constant buffering due to the broadband. Frustrating but not a big deal to be fair.

Best to stay with family in any weather

It was my first experience with a caravan, and we had a fantastic trip with comfortable accommodation during our stay. As vegetarians, I was initially concerned about how we would manage for three days, but the kitchen facilities were excellent — we felt just like at home and enjoyed cooking our own meals. Even the kids were very excited and enjoyed the trip more than we expected. One suggestion: adding a play area or organizing activities for kids in the park would make the destination even better. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. No complaints at all.

The owner was really friendly he came right at check out Time for cleaning, allowed us extra 15 minutes . He put extra tea bags , milk , short bread cookies digestive biscuits, little treats . You can see the sea very nice and calm walk . He have board game like Monopoly and other games we haven't played any but good to have .books , dvds you name it . He was extremely thoughtful would love to come again.

I have electric car there no nearby charger so be aware of that , I have to drive 20 miles to charge my car toward oubass hills but that place turn out to really beautiful must go you can see light house from there

Pleasant experience.

Received directions and lockbox pin code almost instantly, was able to store my pedal bike on the patio, the caravan was spotlessly clean and the wifi was fast, theirs a Smart TV with free view, I used it to watch YouTube, appliances were easy to use, fresh milk of my choice was waiting in the fridge along with quality biscuits, the place is scenic, I was able to get fresh sea air whilst I rode my bike around the coastal path, exactly what I was after for a overnight static caravan stay.

Such a beautiful clean caravan. Rod the owner had some milk, tea and biscuits for our arrival, so much appreciated after our long journey 🥰. The communication from Rod was amazing 10/10. I never read the confirmation email provided by Rod and he was willing to come the caravan to help me locate it and get access to the key (even though it was Boxing Day). Once I read the confirmation email it was such an easy process. Gorgeous views and lovely little walks with Ski bar & restaurant juts a 3 minute walk away. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return. ❤️

Great host , nice place to stay, with a view. The caravan has all the facilities and is family friendly.

The beds were not that comfortable in the smaller rooms, there was no wifi also the Mobile network in the area was not that great so it was difficult to watch Netflix or any other OTT together with family.
