Had a wonderful stay at MacKenzies Peak and will definitely stay with Nicki when we return to Skye.

Excellent communication prior to the stay combined with exact directions for driving. Nicki was very easy to deal with on arrival times and left the light on for us. House was exactly as described both in cleanliness and furnishings. Kitchen was large and new appliances, the washer and dryer were very helpful as this was half way through our trip. Location was perfect, ferry to Raasay was literally across the street. Easy access to the rest of Skye.

Comfy stay with views over the sea from Skye

Lots of room, great views front and back but especially from the front overlooking the sea, central location for visiting all of Skye, very friendly host, separate lounge to relax in.

When you have a dishwasher you don't want to be using it until it's full but that requires plenty of cutlery and crockery. A little more cutlery and more bowls would be good. Otherwise, there were plenty of pots, cooking implements, etc.

Highly recommended

Great spacious house in a great location. Really easy to get to all parts of the island, and a few minutes walk to the ferry to Raasay. The house was spotless and had all the facilities we needed, and the internet was reliable and fast (enough for a work call). Host was helpful and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend the property!

An unforgettable stay at an amazing place

Mackenzies Peak is at an excellent location to explore the Isle of Skye. A 20min drive from destinations such as Portree, Ferry pools, Talisker distillery etc. You can also explore the south part of the island from there. The ferry to Isle of Raasay with its amazing distillery and landscape is only a short walk away. The house is itself is amazing. It is huge and could easily sleep 6 people. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a separate living room and dining area.

Make sure you pick up some groceries on your way to Sconser as there are barely any stores or restaurants nearby. If you are driving to Skye via the bridge either stop before the bridge or next location with some options is probably Portree.

Gorgeous comfortable house with great views and convenient location.

Host was very kind and welcoming when explaining about the keys, which were easy to pick up. The house is in a great location close to both Sky Bridge and Portree. Beautiful views, fully equipped. Comfortable and clean.

Explaining what to do with rubbish and linens - we weren't sure where to put it so we left it by the door. Hardly a complaint though, we loved our stay.

Spacious home set in a beautiful location.

Lovely spacious home for our stay in Skye. Incredible views over to the Isle of Raasay. COnvenient location in near enough the centre of Skye in order to travel around the island and see its amazing sites. We only went as a couple, but the home could easily house a number of people, we were spoilt for space. Everything was catered for in regards to utensils, guides, bedding etc. The only sad part was because we were delayed on the way up we didn't get to say hello to the owner, and on the last day realised we had no pen to sign the guestbook.

Everything! The place is in a great location for exploring Skye, overlooking the water. The property itself is fully equipped with all you could need, and it’s really big! The pictures don’t do it justice - we really enjoyed our stay.

The key collect info was not clearly posted either in the app or via email. Was required to call host for info and we had no method to call - would have been nice to have that info simply emailed to us.

A lovely, active holiday with family.

Fabulous location - close to the red and black Cuillin Hills for walking, short drive to Broadford for shopping and right by the Raasay Ferry for a day out without a car. The house is bright and spacious with everything you need and lovely views of Loch Sligachan to the front and mountains to the back. For cyclists - the old road to Moll is lovely for a short cycle. The road has collapsed at one place on the SE side - but you can squeeze past with a bike. You can also take a bike across on the ferry to explore Raasay.

This is not a criticism of the property - but if you are looking for a location to go cycling without using the car this is limited as the only road through Sconser is very fast and busy with no cycle path or alternative route. Maybe one day Skye will have an off-road cycle route?

Beautiful views over the water. A great start to the day when eating breakfast. Lovely sitting in the lounge at the end of the day watching the sun go down over the water and the hills. Spotlessly clean. Great host, very friendly and helpful.

Mackenzie's Peak

Booked here for a week. Great location and views, ideal for touring Skye. The house is great with plenty of room for 6. Well equipped and clean. Owner lives next door and very helpful if needed. We had a great holiday as an extended family and it was a great place to get back to after a days outing. Ideal for walking and any other type of holiday in Skye.

Mattresses weren't the best. Bit soft for me.

Alojamiento espectacular

La casa está genial. Es muy grande, muy luminosa, las vistas son increíbles. Muy confortable y super equipada. Muchas facilidades para el check in, sobre todo porque llegamos muy tarde.

Quizá el precio, todo en este país es bastante caro. Aunque por el mismo precio hemos estado en sitios bastante peores.
