Hillview Portree Isle of Skye Self Catering House

Very nice house tucked away up a hill with great views of the surrounding area.

Not a dislike really but it was kinda odd that there was no common bathroom. To use a bathroom you had to enter a bedroom.

Beautiful view, very roomy

The property was beautiful and the facilities were very clean and new. View was very pretty. Location was great - very central and close to Portree. Had lots of games for the kids that they really enjoyed. Full size washer and dryer a big plus!

We only stayed 1 night but the house was too warm and there was a heavy (though very comfortable) comforter on bed. There was no top sheet and no fans available in the rooms so everyone was hot. We did not want to open a window to leave open overnight due to being on ground floor, being worried about safety and having young children. The a/c unit was confusing. We couldn’t figure out how to turn the light in the hallway off, may have been motion detector? Stayed on all night. Difficulty with the showers in most of the rooms - Though to be fair we didn’t mess with it to try and figure it out. We just all used the one normal shower. There is a small apartment on the back of the house that was occupied - this wasn’t real clear on the listing. A bit overpriced in my opinion but I booked relatively late
