The gite was charming and fresh and generally well equipped. We found loo rolls, cleaning products and basic food essentials there.
The proprietor couldn't have been more charming or friendly. The pool area was a big plus. The domaine and the guided tour of the Chateau were magnificent.
The duvets on the beds were very heavy and fortunately we had brought two thin blankets and used those with the duvet cover only, as it was 36 degrees during the day. Maybe the sleeping arrangements could accord with the weather.
It would have been good to have scissors and small coffee spoons in the kitchen.
Brochures and tourist information could have been left in the gite, though we did collect these from reception.
In no way are these comments complaints, just suggestions to make everything perfect.

The gite is ideal is because it offers privacy, while still providing access to the chateau and it's amenities. Great for a couple or small family.
It's minor, but the gite's kitchen only offers an espresso maker. We missed having a pot of coffee in the morning!
