Disgusting

The room was ok and the breakfast was really nice, and the person that make the breakfast was wonderful with a very good.

The people at the reception are liars. The day we arrived, we asked the receptionist if we could leave our bags the next day, and she told us we couldn't because there wouldn't be anyone at reception in the morning. She said her coworker was sick and couldn't come in those days, and that she was only going to be there for the afternoon shift. So, while having breakfast the next day, we asked the cook if we could leave our bags, and she told us she would open the office for us to leave them. To my surprise, when we got to the office, her coworker was there. When I told him we were going to leave our bags in the office, he said it wasn't possible because his coworker wasn't coming in for the afternoon shift. And I said to him, 'But yesterday your coworker told me you weren't coming in for the morning shift because you were sick, and that she would come to the afternoon shift.' Then I told him, 'How is that possible? Someone is lying if you were supposed to be sick,' and he tells me, 'Well, someone isn't sick their whole life, and what they told you before isn't true. Later, I found out that the other coworker is his girlfriend and they cover each other's backs. If it's supposed to be a hotel or even a hostel, there should be a reception at least during the day. We only asked to leave our things from 9 AM to 4 PM, but what bothered me the most were the lies from the receptionist couple just to get out of doing their jobs.

A place with heart and care

Thank you for your hospitality, especially the breakfast staff and the cleaning staff. Every morning I looked forward to breakfast — it was the perfect start to the day. I explored Cinque Terre, La Spezia, and Viareggio, and when I came back to my room, the room was fresh as new. Thank you for the care you show your guests.

Great value stay in La Spezia

The staff were very welcoming, explaining access through the property and information on the area. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a kettle in the room with cups and tea. When booking I wasn't aware there was a shared kitchen available too with fridges so that was a bonus.

A lovely place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here and loved that our money was supporting a worthy cause. The staff are lovely and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable with a kettle and there is a shared kitchen if you’d like to cook (although not a lot of utensils). It’s in a great location for the train station and only a short walk to reach plenty of restaurants. It was also lovely to be supplied with a nice coffee and a few simple breakfast options to start the day.

We loved it here but perhaps a better stocked kitchen for those that want to make their own meals would be great.

Perfect for family budget, everything on walking distancee, train station and restaurants.

Although the room was simple, was exactly what we need to have it a pleasent stay. Airco, very important as that week was doing almost 38 degree celsius. Confortable beds, showes and also included a free breakfast ( simple, but good enough for some bread, coffee and start the day). On top of that parking for car was extremelly useful! We parked the car for 3-4 days and didn't take it out ( all on walking distantce, train station and restaurants)

The bedroom was kind of smelly ( not sure because was too hot and water was evaporating from sewer or it's always lke that). Something we could stand and we didn't like much.

One of the finest stays with good breakfast

Breakfast was good. The staff were excellent. The host was sensational. They had given me a proper schedule of the train to make my travelling plan better. The best stay in Italy for me. Will love to go back for my next vacation again.

Great place to visit, sight seeing and rest

It's actually a high school campus that works as a hosting facility in one of its sections, It's very animated during the day having kids playing on the grounds but at night is extremely silent so perfect to sleep and rest. It has everything you need to have a comfortable stay and the rooms are very big, having parking was a BIG PLUS, since we were doing a road trip, we were able to park on the grounds and leave the car secure while we went by train to visit cinqueterre (where parking is simply not possible). Plus the train station is just 5 minutes away. The locations is very conveniente too, it's close to a lot of restaurants and about 15 minutes walk to the port, so the perfect place to wonder around and discover. Giovanni was super helpful and gave us so many recommendations, he really saved our trip, there's nothing like a local, to advice you on your travel, so big thanks to him. Also the breakfast was also good. Thank you.

Peaceful place, a little far from the CT action

The staff is amazing. The facilities are basic but clean and have everything you need. I felt very safe inside. It was peaceful and perfect after the long, hot, and busy days in Cinque Terre. Breakfast was plenty and the staff was also fantastic.

I arrived on Sunday afternoon, and the area felt too empty. As a solo traveler, I would not have felt comfortable arriving alone late at night. Once I was inside the hotel, I was perfectly comfortable and safe

You get what you pay for

Its 4min from train station which is nice but also only 10 min from the restaurant hub. The breakfast ladies were nice. Decent breakfast spread.

Its a community center, so less safe for solo travellers as they open the doors daily and usually had night conference or religious groupings. Very religious (catholic). The bed was hard but still doable. The woman who checked me in tried to con me for 12€. By telling me city tax was 22€ when in reality it was 10€. Did not appreciate that and thankfully i asked to pay at the end of my stay.

It was lovely and I would stay there again

Everyone was friendly and the breakfast was great. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable.

We were surprised that it shared space with the church and where the kids play. It was fun to hear all the kids playing but we were very confused as to who shares the spaces in and around the rooms.

Hotel staff was very helpful, and explained all the facilities very well. We got the room on the terrace, and spent lovely time sitting on the terrace on a pleasant night. Location was great .,.just 5 mins away from train station that can quickly take you to any of the cinque terre towns.

Best staff and clean rooms with all essentials

This property is close to the central station and they were courteous enough to check me in early in the morning The staff was so good, and the rooms are so comfortable and super clean with all the facilities that one could need in the room The breakfast included was nice, they have a fully equipped kitchen if you want to use and also laundry machine(insert coin) and drying area which can be used It's so peaceful and the balcony overlooks the hill nearby# so great place to work from here with good wifi available They have a desk and a monitor in the room which is an added bonus

The lift is very small and a manual lift (closing the doors yourself) not good for someone who is claustrophobic.

Secure, Clean, Friendly B&B - Great Location Too

Location is great especially if you're going to Cinque Terre with train as station is few minutes walk. Secure parking inside complex is very handy. The room was very nice, clean and big enough for a family of 4. Breakfast included is added bonus and staff are very friendly. Everyone made us feel welcome from meet and greet to breakfast ladies and others.

It is a good location to get to the train station and visit le Cinque Terre. If you go by car, yo can park the car inside the complex, which is a very important thing. The room is very acceptable. Great breakfast.

Perfect stay for access to Cinque Terre.

Perfect location for La Spezia railway station for getting to the Cinque Terre, only 5 minutes walk. The room was clean and quiet and the air-conditioning a real bonus in 35 degrees heat! Breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable with 2 lovely ladies in charge. Giovanni was helpful and kind in assisting with our check in and out and providing all the necessary information about the Cinque Terre National Park. This accommodation is set with a Christian selesion organisation which benefits young children from under-privileged backgrounds

Clean, new and friendly staff

The room and bathroom looked new. Upon arrival it was clear that the room was freshly cleaned. The aircon was fantastic and the bed was comfortable. The staff is very knowledgable and helpful. We asked for a recommendation for lunch and he told us about his local favourite and told us to make our way there and he made a reservation for us on the spot! Very easy to train to Cinque Terre.
