Wonderful stay in the heart of old Perugia

Wonderful location with amazing views over the old centre of Perugia. Andrea, our host met us on arrival, which was delayed due to a train strike but he was very understanding. The apartment had everything we required and we loved Perugia.

Brilliant suite in a top location with super helpful host

Fabulous upbeat suite right at the top of the old city in the best possible location for visiting Perugia. Andrea is an attentive host who helps even with parking issues. Views out over old town and Assisi in the far distance. Beautiful stay

Amazing views. Great location. Perfect introduction to Perugia

The apartment is amazing. Fabulous views over Perugia and Assisi from all the windows. The bed was very comfortable and the building quiet - slept very well. The bathroom also has an amazing view over the city. Shower is large and works well. The location is perfect. We arrived to find a lovely antique market in the square opposite. Shops, restaurants, castle, cathedral, aqueduct, and National Gallery all within a few minutes walk of the front door. Got the E007 bus to Assisi from the bus station - access via escalator through the castle (Rock of St Paul) which you can see from bathroom window. La Taverna is a lovely place for dinner, booking advised as it gets busy. Lunch supplies from the Co-op (main street turn right out of front door)

A minor improvement would be to supply a tea towel and cloth for washing up.

Perfect Perugia

We LOVED this apartment for our five day stay, the location, the spectacular views from every room, quiet at night but great festivities out the front of the building at Piazza Italia. Great for day trips too to Assisi, Orvieto, etc. The host showed us where to park and drove us back. We walked everywhere and loved descending through the Etruscan city below Perugia to walk to the carpark. All so close. Just great. A+++

Wonderful spacious apartment with spectacular views

One of the nicest holiday apartments I’ve ever had the pleasure of renting. Lots of space (it’s huge!) and all the facilities you’ll need to relax and cook. It’s right around the corner of the Corso Vannucci leading up to the beautiful main square of Perugia. Andrea is a wonderful host, always ready to give information when needed and even picking us up from the train station in Perugia. And last, but definitely not least: THE VIEW! Spectacular, every day all day it’s a pleasure to look out of the windows towards San Domenico and San Pietro and the beautiful Umbrian countryside, and you can even see Assisi in the distance.

Andrea was a great host. Cleaning products, tea towels and bathroom towels aplenty. Apartment was spacious in great location and fabulous views.

Wonderful.

Hosts (Andrea and Vittoria) were excellent and so accommodating. Apartment was in great location literally (50m) just outside ZTL zone and with great views. And 200m to center of Perugia. Helped us to the local carpark both when arriving and when leaving - took our luggage in his car to the carpark - VERY much appreciated. Gave us excellent advice re restaurants. Couldn't fault it.

The apartment itself was great. Main challenge is driving to the apartment to drop-off bags/suitcases. Can be a bit tricky with Google maps (only had to make one U-turn).

Fabulous view and location. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Andrea was very accommodating, kind, and generous.

It would have been nice to have luggage stands for our suitcases and hooks in the bathroom for towels to dry.

We had a wonderful time in Perugia and would highly recommend Suite Calderini

Superb location and the views from the apartment were stunning; Andrea met us with the keys, responded to our requests and came to collect the keys and farewell us as well as calling the taxi! Each of the restaurants he recommended were excellent despite them each being very different experiences.

These comments are observations rather than things we didn't like. If guests wish to watch TV there were only Italian stations or they were the only ones we could find! There was no microwave nor a clothes washer.

Bottom line I cannot think of a better place one could stay in Perugia.

We went out to breakfast each morning. There is a great very popular cafe about 300 steps from the apartment, that gets the morning sun. There is also a beautiful old world cafe in the center of the square (about 5 minutes away) that is also great.

This is difficult as it it is hard to complain about someplace so special. It would have been nice to have one more set of pillows on the bed and a few extra hangers which they immediately supplied on request.

The AC was not effective in the hot summer of 2022. Andrea said he would fix it up quickly. A couple of extra pillows or bigger pillows would have been welcome.

We had to buy shower products, coffee, milk, etc., as soon as we arrived. Every other place we've stayed in has been better supplied (we of course expect to need buy in our own supplies, but not of necessity on day 1).

Better impossible

Everything is perfect! The views are a dream, very wide and comfortable flat, well equiped and very nicely done. Andrea, the host, is super helpful, always available and gabe us great recommendations. I would come back anytime!

The only thing I would change or improve are the pillows which were a bit flat.

Great getaway for a prolonged weekend

The Host Andrea kindly welcomed us when we arrived. Also during our stay he was immediately available for all kind of questions (restaurant recommendation, parking etc) and showed great hospitality. The apartment itself is perfectly located so that you can discover Perugia per pedes. Absolute recommendation!!

Superb accommodation

We had a great stay in Perugia. We were met at Suite Calderini by Andrea who is very friendly, helpful and generous. The flat is beautiful, very stylishly furnished and features interesting original art. A highlight is the wonderful view over the city and the valley all the way to Assisi. The location right in the center of town is very convenient. We highly recommend this place.

Een bijzonder mooie, schone en ruime locatie, waar vanuit de prachtige stad en omgeving te bezoeken is.

Op wellicht één van de mooiste locaties van Perugia is het genieten van alles dat de stad te bieden heeft. De accommodatie is ruim, schoon en zeer aangenaam. De uitkijk vanuit de talloze hoge ramen biedt een prachtig decor van oude kerken en huizen en de heuvels van Umbrië in de verte De wifi werkt perfect, de keuken biedt het hoognodige. De stad biedt de rest. Net als de parkeergarage die op 5 minuutjes lopen te bereiken is. Overigens kan je pal voor deur jouw koffers uitladen en inladen. Mis je alsnog een aantal zaken, dan biedt eigenaar Andrea binnen no time de helpende hand.

Huoneiston sijainti vanhassa keskustassa on erittäin hyvä, lähellä palveluja ja keskeisiä nähtävyyksiä. Näköala huoneistosta on henkeäsalpaavan kaunis, ja mikä parasta, asuntoon päästäkseen ei tarvitse kiivetä portaita tai jyrkkiä katuja. Viihdyimme hyvin tyylikkäässä huoneistossa.

Pidimme todella paljon asunnosta, mutta mielestämme keittiön varustelu olisi voinut olla parempi (vähän astioita ja pannuja, ei uunia, mikroaaltouunia eikä tiskikonetta, yksi nenäliinan kokoinen astiapyyhe). Mutta mikäli syöt mieluiten ravintolassa, tämä ei ole mikään ongelma.
