Domus Maya Colosseum

Communications with the apartment hosts was excellent and we appreciated their recommendations and support either our Rome visit very much. The location was also excellent, the area Monti has lots of great restaurants both touristy but also frequented by locals. Easy ten minute walk from Roma Termini station and the colosseum.

I was worried by the proximity of a ‘club’ to the property but can confirm this didn’t give us any issues at all from noise. The location was great despite my concern. There was an issue with the shower screen which I have fed back to the hosts.

Location, large space. Hosts were extremely accommodating and flexible.

Water pressure from main overhead shower but hand shower head pressure was perfect.

The apartment is in a very convenient location with easy access to buses and the metro. It is spacious enough for 4-5 people. The beds are comfortable, the bedrooms are well-sized and the kitchen is lovely. We were also provided with plenty of towels, which was appreciated. Both check-in and check-out were very smooth.

Unfortunately, there were a few issues that affected our stay. One of the bedrooms had a strong musty/damp smell when we arrived, which even transferred to our clothes. The AC in the bedroom closest to the bathroom also did not work properly. In the bathroom, the shower door frequently got stuck after closing and was very difficult to reopen, which was quite concerning. The main shower was also mostly blocked, maybe due to limescale, so we had to use the handheld shower. Its holder is very low, which makes showering a bit inconvenient. There is also a washing machine, but we could not get the door to close properly and therefore couldn't use it. I think that the apartment has a lot of potential: it is spacious, comfortable and nicely located. However, some maintenance would make a significant difference to the overall experience!

Znakomita lokalizacja. Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielem. Mieszkanie bardzo dobrze wyposażone. Sprawne klimatyzacje w każdym z dwóch pokoi. W lodówce czekała na nas zimna woda! :) Wszędzie 20 minut spacerem i mniej do najważniejszych miejsc! Polecam bardzo serdecznie! Idealny dla rodzin z dziećmi! Byliśmy w tygodniu, żadnego hałasu nie słyszeliśmy :)

Brak. Wszystko było super.
