Adding A/C would have made the apartment an absolutely perfect place to stay.

Very hospitable host (Fabrizio) - met us in person at the railway station to give us a ride and show everything in the flat. Location is just few steps from the main square , in a historic building. Spacious flat. Host was very nice to us allowing to leave luggage inside for few hours more.

Definitely requires an A/C during hot season. Keeping windows open brings noise , and not enough cooling.

The gods smiled on us when we found this haven.

Items that, for tourists, are very helpful to have: coffee, tea, jams, kitchen roll- all were welcome. The pans and crockery were superior. The cooking knives were our delight because they were sharp and good quality- great if you enjoy cooking. 3 TVs! Added to the great location thus was the best kitted out apartment we have ever stayed in.

Nothing much. It is a very cool apartment and in the heat it is a blessing. We had a few rainy afternoons so a it got a bit chilly.

Just Lovely!

Fantastic host. Fabrizio picked us up at the bottom of the hill and drove us up to the apartment, which is right in the center of town. He explained everything to us, and gave us suggestions about what to see, do, and eat. We had a welcome wine and other treats upon arrival. The apartment itself was very old and had a lot of character. It was remodeled to perfection, with high quality sheets, towels, furniture, and kitchen appliances. We had everything we needed to cook some really nice meals. And SHARP KNIVES and an olive oil cutting board, can you imagine my utter joy as a vegetarian?? The property was very quiet and we slept like babies after days of hoofing the hills of Assisi. It‘s been by far our favorite town and favorite apartment in Italy. The price was ridiculously cheap for the quality of everything. Please stay here. You won‘t regret it.

The apartment was beautiful and very tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The host was very friendly and kindly offered to pick us up from the train station since we arrived rather late. The location is very convenient if you want to be in the center.

Since the apartment is right in the center, it could get noisy at night or early morning. The electric stove didn't work reliably and you couldn't use more than one electric gadget at the same time (apparently this is common in that region).

Departamento muy completo y en excelente ubicación

El apartamento tiene todo lo necesario y más. La ubicación es muy buena, a medio camino entre la Basílica de San Francisco y la Iglesia de Santa Clara. Muy cerca de la Plaza de los Comunes. Maura muy atenta como anfitrión, particularmente con las indicaciones para llegar (en nuestro caso con automóvil, considerando que la zona es restringida para el tránsito).

Si bien en nuestro caso no fue un problema, gente mayor debe considerar que en la entrada del baño hay cuatro escalones.

Perfetto!

Appartamento perfetto! Molto accogliente al piano terra e centralissimo! A due passi dalla piazza del comune e dalla basilica di San Francesco, nonché dagli ottimi ristoranti consigliati dai proprietari. Persone gentilissime e disponibili per ogni supporto. La casa perfetta, moderna e dotata di ogni confort.

Praticamente nulla! Solo se in famiglia c’è una persona anziana potrebbe avere qualche difficoltà con il bagno situato a tre gradini con un livello più alto, ma comunque dotato di passamano.
