It seemed like a dream 💭 but we lived it.

The unit is a dream! You’re on the third floor of a cozy whitewashed unit overlooking the hills and mountains and rustic rooftops of this quaint village. You can smell the clean, cool air of Assisi from the old-fashioned wooden windows. It was airy, the place very spacious, and the beds comfortable. There were 2 bedrooms with queen beds each, all in white linen. Toilet spacious with modern shower enclosure and water heater. The shower hose was broken but the owner had it fixed right away. Good service and easy to contact. Kitchen complete for use and spacious too. We love everything about this unit. It’s a short 5-minute walk to the Basilica. From there, you can visit the lower part ground level, to the tomb of St. Francis. For the upper part, you need to climb a flight of stairs or the uphill walkway. Across the upper church is the way leading to the portion of Assisi village that is more on a level path and has more quaint stores during the day.

49 steps and 7 flights of stairs to carry our heavy luggages up to the unit. Location is a short walk and perfect to go to the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, but to go to the city center, it was quite an uphill climb. You need strong legs and lungs for this. Otherwise, walk slow and enjoy the journey, which we did. Unless we’re hungry. Restaurants open at 7:30 or 8pm. So while waiting, we browsed around the few open shops.

Appartamento top nella magica Assisi

La prima volta che abbiamo soggiornato a Fontebella 46 siamo rimasti così contenti che abbiamo voluto ritornarci. Abbiamo prenotato con abbondante anticipo per essere sicuri di riuscire a trascorrere il Natale, ancora una volta, in un appartamento che ci ha fatto stare bene per l'organizzazione, la pulizia, le dimensioni delle camere, il panorama meraviglioso, la vicinanza alla Basilica, la gentilezza e la disponibilità di Marta e Andrea. Le due camere da letto sono fondamentali per consentire a chi guarda la TV nell'ingresso/soggiorno (dotato di divano) di non disturbare chi vuole riposare. Abbiamo preparato e pranzato a casa, in una cucina dotata di tutto il necessario. I tre piani di scale per noi non sono mai stati un problema perchè non sono nulla rispetto alla positività dell'alloggio... e poi preparano ad affrontare il continuo saliscendi della città di Assisi. Con una piacevole passeggiata di 10 m si arriva alla piazza centrale. Grazie Marta, grazie Andrea, speriamo di ritrovarci per una terza volta. Buon anno!

Departamento tranquilo y cómodo

Que era amplio ,con dos cuartos y área de cocina muy bien equipada,Martha fue muy amable Con nosotros,también agradecemos que nos permitió quedarnos un par de horas más el Día del Chek out,pues no tenía reservacion ese día,las vistas son espectaculares al valle de Asis y las camas muy cómodas!habian instalado el Aire acondicionado y lo estrenamos porque el Calor 🔥 era agobiante en la ciudad.Lugar tranquilo y cerca del pueblo.

Que no tenga ascensor,veníamos Con equipaje pesado y fue muy trabajoso subir y bajar las Maletas de un 4 to piso.Pero asi son los edificios antiguos,….

Appartamento bello e pulito. Panorama eccezionale. Dotazioni complete per casa e cucina. Stanze ampie, giusto il bagno un pò piccolo ma fornito di tutto il necessario.

Piccolo disagio ma solo per bambini molto piccoli o in carrozzina è il terzo piano senza ascensore

A estadia foi agradável. O alojamento está bem localizado e permi para se poder conhecer Assis a pé.

O alojamento não oferece pequeno almoço. O anfitrião chegou com 20 minutos de atraso para nos entregar as chaves no dia da chegada.

Da cama de solteiro. Deveria de oferecer um colchão mais confortável.

La vista, la cocina con todo para cocinar, la decoración de los cuartos que es todo blanco, da tanta paz, las camas muy cómodas, todo super práctico y lindo.
