The host was very kind and helpful. Walked us through the entire property to make us feel at home. It's a very nice apartment with all the facilities needed and it's located in th3 heart of Assisi centre in the close proximity to Churches, supermarkets and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Heating could be improved as Assisi is a cold place.

A excellent accommodation that is well prepared with beddings, towels and power sockets for overseas visitors. The staff

1) Property was well located. 2) Staff was helpful, kind and responded to email promptly. The check in staff, Paolo Calocci, was especially helpful. We arrived very close to 8pm due to road work but he waited for us and ensured we had what we needed before he left. Recommendations of good restaurants were spot on!! 3) Property was clean and well resourced with conversion power socket which was v useful for Australia power cords. This was very vital to help us enjoy our stay. The beds were well made with towels and toiletries where they should be. We left welcomed and valued as a guest in the property. 4) Check out was good. We had to contact Paolo as we forgot his checkout instructions the day before. He was respectful, helpful and pleasant.

Some local beverage such as hot chocolate and locally baked goods would have made the stay more special. Directions to the closest supermarket and bakery and their opening hours would be helpful.

When booking the pictures shown include a 2nd apartment. This should never happen. The bookings should always reflect exactly the property that is being secured. It’s misleading.

No elevator. Too much and too strong cleaning agents were used to clean the apartment - we had irritated eyes. Maybe hosts were prepared for covid danger.

location

no balcony as was advertised and pictured, we did get a small discount but only after complaining to booking after manager told us that we were wrong to expect one as that was a different apartment!

The town of Assisi makes a great effort to preserve the spirit of St Francis of Assisi. Paolo and his wife are great examples of that gentle, caring spirit.

Great place to be

This apartement is in the city center what is a great benefit. Owners were absolutely great, they recommended us restaurants, gave us the map of the city center. Everything was perfect.

Amazing place for our family trip

The location was amazing, we were so comfortable that we decided to stay at Assisi and leave the other towns for a future visit. Paolo was an excellent host, he was all the time making sure everything was ok and his recommendations were really helpful.

The smaller room has a spooky decor and it should have a fan, but I am sure Paolo would have given it to us if we asked but we didn't. The bed was comfortable, though.

Assisi is tranquil and lovely, as was our experience at Palazzo Calocci.

The location was excellent. Our host Paolo,molto gentile, and the whole experience just lovely. The terrace was a bonus in every respect, as was the welcome extended by Paolo and his wife. Assisi is a very particular experience, and our apartment amplified that.

As far as we were concerned there was nothing to dislike.

A great base to explore Assisi

Central location and a large dining area to eat as a group. good shower, plenty of towels, clean and very kind staff with lots of recommendations

I thought from photos the property I booked had 3 sleeping areas (2 rooms & 2 sofa bed) for 6 people. Upon arrival we had 2 sleeping areas, so 3 in each. Luckily one member of our party of 6 didn’t join as it would have been very crowded if they had!

The apartment is very comfortable clean and has everything you need! Plus there's a beautiful view from the balcony;) The location is close to the city centre but in a quiet area. Nariza is a very gentle lady, always ready to help and make you feel at home. It' a been a loving relaxing stay, I hope to do it again soon:)
