Barceló Maya Riviera - All Inclusive Adults Only

Beach was nice. Lots of chair. Adult side was very clean. Restaurants had very good food. Staff is awesome.

I didn’t like that there were conferences going on all the time. It would have been nice to have it more of a couples vibe. I did not like there was not an adult only hydro therapy spa and that other people could book in just to use the hydro therapy and steam/sauna not just spa costumers. I did not like that there was a couple nights that the buffet was closed and we could not book into the restaurants. So only option was to go to buffet on kids side.

The hotel was nice and clean and the service we got at the restaurant and pool were good.

We wanted to extend our stay for an extra night and the front desk person was very rude. She said we had to check out and go online to book an extra night because our room was already taken. So we had to pack all our bags get out of the room wait a few hours then wait in the long line to check back in. When we checked back in the lady asked us if we just wanted the same room so we wasted a few hours of our time for nothing. Also we waiting in line for over an hour to just book a reservation for dinner. You guys are so close to having a good review of this place because overall its a nice place and the service was very good in some areas but the two bad experience are so bad it makes the whole experience bad. I hope you can train your front desk better.
