Very comfortable large room with good size bathroom and a decent shower. Breakfast was excellent and parking was easy. Host was friendly and helpful.

Friendly people. A rural setting but close to town. You could walk it but not with big bags. Lovely view down to the sea and across the water to Shapinsay and beyond. The sunset was wonderful! The breakfast was excellent. The bus into town stops right outside so it is great for car-abstainers like us.
Bit pricey compared to other places we stayed. Duvet a bit thick for summer (even in Orkney!)

This is a cosy, friendly and comfortable place to stay in Kirkwall. Beautiful views from the hill and you are close to town but also you feel part of the island community in this family run Bed and Breakfast. The breakfast was also the best we’ve had on our tour of the islands!

Beautiful location. Lovely comfortable house. Great host. Nothing was too much trouble. Wonderful friendly atmostphere. Great selection for breakfast. Absolutely delicious.
