George was very welcoming and picked us up from the ferry at 23.00 hours, thanks so much for this. Fara is a lovely quiet place, nicely decorated and the location is outside Kirkwall so nice and peaceful but you can walk to town easily in 15 to 20 minutes.
No complaints at all, sorry!

A perfectly comfortable one-bedroom. Kitchenette with microwave, no toaster. Plenty of DIY breakfast supplies including cereal, yogurt and fruit. Comfortable mattress. 15 minute walk downhill to center of town. Nice quiet neighborhood. Minimalist bathroom with quarter-round shower works well. Beautiful view of the harbor and St. Magnus spire.
No toaster or coffee maker. But we left a French press.
