This is the best B&B I have ever stayed out. I arrived a bit late, after a long walk. I was tired, sweaty and probably looked a wee bit scruffy. The owner welcomed me with a smile and warmth. She was absolutely lovely. The room was the nicest room I’ve been in for ages. Clean and classy. The attention to detail was amazing. I’d definitely recommend this place. The breakfast was great. But really it’s the lady that runs the place that makes it so nice,just goods vibes.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay in Kirkwall, Orkney. We arrived quite late and our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was immaculate with everything we needed. Nice little touches like a mini fridge with fresh milk & a glass bottle of chilled water. Bathrobes & slippers, Iron & Ironing board. Breakfast was freshly cooked with quality ingredients including homemade Tattie Scones, and delicious coffee. Would definitely recommend staying at Heatherlea, it is close to the town centre and has lots of useful information.
10/10 :)
