Janice is an A++ host! This was far more than a room, a suite with a very comfortable king-sized bed, great bath, and an eating and sitting area, PLUS a sitting room with a couch and big tv. So much more than we expected. This before we realized there’s also a beautiful garden, and bench overlooking the loch. Janice was a font of Orcadian info, and was patient with all of our questions. Just superb… wish we had booked for a week!

Everything! Words are not adequate to describe our experience with Janice and her lovely property. We so appreciated having such a generous sized space,
a sheet for the bed,
ample French Press coffee,
Delicious breakfast with multiple
Choices, extra treats and tea choices,
Quietness of setting, drying racks for wet clothes,
amazing garden and most of all, time spent with Janice learning more about the Orkney Islands.
Didn’t stay long enough!

Loved EVERYTHING about this property. We spent over a month traveling throughout Scotland. Old School was by far our best experience. All the little “niceties”, have been thought of.
