What a wee gem the Murray Arms is, and so close to the ferry when we arrived late in the evening. The staff were amazing, our accommodation was wonderful and the food was fantastic!

The staff were amazing. Room was small and quaint but comfortable. Seafood dinner was lovely.
The walls were a little thin as you could here people packing their suitcases to leave. Still, that isn't enough negativity to not stay again as I would happily stay again.

Friendly staff, good food. Location about 20 min from Kirkwall. There is a bus if you want it. You are at most 1 hour drive from anywhere on the island

Quirky hotel, which I like, and the staff were very friendly overall.
The food was in many respects overpriced given that we both thought the fish was overcooked. The staff, although very keen and helpful and quite young, would benefit from some professional training. I like character establishments but that wanes when the price point is high.
