Clean , comfy bed . Good security

Overpriced for what it is , reminded me of a converted care home . Only just been renovated but we had a leaking toilet for 4 days . Paper cups to drink out of which I hate , blinds which didn’t black out the room at all . It was trying to be an air b n b with no cooking facilities, hence I found it very overpriced . The beds were comfortable & very clean .

Very comfy bed. Excellent shower &wet-room. Stylish decor. Good location within walking distance of town centre. Nice cafe for later breakfast etc just across the road in the ultra-modern hospital. Simple self-check-in. Responsive phone help for check-in, but no staff on site.

It had only just opened and still had several snags. Very little storage shelving/cupboards and nowhere to put/hang wet clothes. Completely bare lobby with no chairs; no communal space. Basin taps plumbed wrongly (impossible to get more than trickle cold flow or less than torrent flow hot). No working heating in bathroom. No mirror in bedroom; no full length mirror; no ironing facility possible. Minuscule table top so impossible for working space or make-up. No self catering (no fridge, microwave, crockery or cutlery). No safe. Only horrible paper cups for instant coffee. Very poor value, even for peak Orkney season.
