Laguna Resort by Diomedes Group

Everything was great. For breakfast Dasha was there with good morning smile and tastefull ofering for breakfast. Including grat coffee and plenty offerings of juices. Dinner was slso great eith six options for appetisers, six for main course and four sweets. We were staying seven nights so each day we tried some different main course. Everything was tastefull.. Sea was fantastic. Beach very well organised, thank you Ksenia.Pleanty of towels. Car was parked in shadow and parking space is good and suficient. The reception helped organise botle of very delisious Anastasia rose bottle of vine for my brother birthday. Many thanks!

The quality of the staff. The quality of the food. The hotel cleanliness.

The beach is not much sand but more pebbles. Could use a bit more food variety, but what is, is excellent quality.

Good things: Location wise, the resort is in a perfect location, the beach is some 50m away, the village of Hanioti is just a 20 min walk away so you are not a part of the horrendous traffic. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. The food was very tasty and very nice as well.

Well, here comes the tricky section, the dislikes: I spent my time in the resort with my partner and our 6 months old daughter. Since the sunbeds on the beach are positioned quite close to one-another and in the open sun, there are 4 sunbeds that are right infront of a gigantic tree, making for a very deep and nice shadow. Naturally, since we had a baby, I asked if possible to have one of the sunbeds reserved for us during our stay as to help with our baby. Even though we reserved it, unfortunately we couldnt obtain it for a single day because all 4 of the deep-shadow sunbeds were doublebooked.. by some Bosnian families that were not even guests of the hotel. How could a luxury resort allow their guests of the resort not to have preference on the sunbeds? On the penultimate day on our stay, room service seemed to forget our room - we did not receive the room service. How could a luxury resort allow a room be overlooked for room service? Me and my partner booked one of the top 2 appartments that the resort could offer for our stay, during the booking process I noticed that the appartment has a jacuzzi on the balcony, a really nice amenity that helps tremendously when travelling with a small baby. Unfortunately, the staff told me that the water pump is broken due to the salt sea water and we would not be able to use the jacuzzi. Although disappointed, I didnt think it was too big of a deal - bad luck. But then the very next day, my partner overheard the neighbours enjoying their jacuzzi, working as intended. How could a luxury resort have a malfunctioning jacuzzi in one of the 2 top appartments and a perfectly working one in the other one? As a dishonorable mention, I have to say a word or two about the flies in the restaurant: yes, unfortunately, there are a tons of flies in the restaurant that distract you from eating and are generally a problem that the resort could not fix. How could a luxury resort not spray against insects before the season begins?
